            What is happening in the world? Hello my dear Story Time readers from around the world, the last 48 hours have been shocking for the world. I know I certainly was shocked when I heard the news of what happened in Ukraine.  It immediately made me anxious.  My thoughts and prayers are with the victims. I find it so heartbreaking to know that innocent people have to die because of the decisions and interaction between political leaders from both sides.  Why do innocent people have to suffer simply because parties can't find mutual ground?  This was the last thing that the world needed. I wanted to write this post to urge the next generation of future leaders to not follow in these footsteps.   Story Time: Valentine doughnuts from Wake&Bake and food from Twins Pizza&Burgers Hello guys, how was your valentine's day? In this Story Time, I want to talk about mine. First of all, there is this baking shop that I discovered a long time ago. I am going to do a separate blog post on them and the different desserts that I ordered from them. They were almost too cute to eat, but I have no regrets. It was worth every bite. They were topped with a chocolate-based ganache and some even had a delicious creamy Nutella filling.  Even the dough had a unique taste to it, I had to try and control myself not to eat all of it.  So I ended up sharing it with my loved ones, and the most spoiled of them is probably my little brother.  He's technically n

  Story Time: Shopping at Dio in the hermitage mall and visiting Lucky Twins restaurant! Hi guys, I went to Dio in the Hermitage mall to do a little bit of shopping.  Dio or also known as DA drogisterij ( Drogisterij is dutch for drugstore) has different locations in Suriname. They are among the most well-known drugstores in this small Caribbean/South American country.  I got myself this Vogue cosmetics set for women, and I have to admit it was worth it. It smells so good and it is long-lasting. The shower foam has a nice scent to it that isn't too overwhelming. It has an affordable luxurious feel to it. If you are noticing the unicorn, it was a cute lip balm that I saw in the DIO store so I had to get it. I had already planned to write my  Self-love unicorn article  but I didn't notice the similarity until I finished that post just now. So I am going to enjoy using my unicorn lip balm to spoil myself.  I got myself the cherry one, although I can't really taste

Today I am back with another self-love topic.  Ever since I started my self-love journey my life has changed for the better. The road wasn't always easy, but Self-love help me find the courage and strength that I needed to find wisdom in myself, and it also helped me to apply that wisdom into the real world. Because sometimes listening to what the voice inside of you has to say isn't enough! Your touch has left magic on my soul, and the poet in me couldn't help but make our story an eternal memory. If only sweet words could set my heart free.  If only sweet memories could set me free. I never meant to touch you, I tried to keep so many emotions trapped inside of me.  Even when dreams of you seemed to be forever haunting me.                        Story Time: Who am I?  There were a million different ways that I could write this Story Time. But as you have been noticing lately my creative juices are flowing all over this blog.  I am posting regularly and keeping in touch with all of you guys. Phew, that self-love is starting to pay off in so many ways. A better rested, healthier, and more confident version of me has made me so much more productive. I am not saying that I am never productive, I have just gotten better at it. They do say that practice makes perfect. I have mastered delegating tasks and knowing when I need a break.           Story Time: Lunch at the Coffee Box  Hello again, today is a beautiful day. I am sure everyone noticed the beautiful number combination of 2-2-2022.  Congratulations to all the love birds that decided to make this their special day. Rest assured, today I am not writing to you guys about the date! I am here to talk about this cute little spot located in Paramaribo. It's called The Coffee box and we decided to have our lunch there.  The Coffee Box is located in the Lala Rookh weg #22. What a coincidence with all the number 2's that I am confronted with today.  When you are in the Lala Rookh weg, it's difficult to miss The Coffee Box. Their modern and wooden decor is immediately noticeable. Even at night, you can see their bright lamps shine on their terras from the street.   Don't mind my natural look, I don't want to be one of those bloggers that feed you a picture-perfect life all the time.  Nope,  that is never going to be me.  I
