I have a lot of fun travel and foodie adventures to share with you guys! Unfortunately my internet provider Telesur,  doesn't always offer the best services. Because of the slow internet upload speeds in Suriname, it often takes me a while to get my content running and loaded in front of my audience. It's a good thing that quitting isn't in my nature! Instead, I keep going on my adventures and I try to collect as many moments as possible to share with you guys. I'm having a lot of fun creating and sharing content with the help of my loved ones. Sometimes I even get dragged to places by my friends. They like to show me new places to share with my diverse audience.💓😍That's truly something I am grateful for.  Visiting Rio's Food And Walking Through Paramaribo Hello my foodie friends, how have you been? I'm back with another adventure from warm tropical Suriname! This time, I am taking you guys to Rio's Food. They are a popular breakfast spot for most working people in the area. Rio's Food is located in the Koningstraat ( King Street in Dutch) right across Kirpalani. This restaurant sells all kinds of Surinamese food. On their menu, they have bread that you can try with popular Surinamese fillings. I chose a bread filled with chicken liver. You can also buy Bami, Nasi, Pom, and other popular Surinamese dishes from Rio's food. On certain days they sell fish eggs in Massala! That's one of my favorite things to order from Rio's food. If you find yourself traveling through Paramaribo and you want to give the local dishes a try, Rio's Food is the place to be. Some of their dishes are so local, that you can't find them in restaurants. These dishes are mostly

 A Foodie Adventure At Taman Indah Resort Hello my friends, today our Story Time U.F.O. 🛸is taking you for a rough landing in the district of Commewijne. We found ourselves in Tamanredjo again. This place is popular for the amount Javanese warungs that you can find there. Most of our Neighbors that cross to Suriname from French Guyana stop here for a snack before making their way to the capital, Paramaribo. Among one of the popular restaurants in this area there is Taman Indah Resort. They are famous for their Berkat and their swimming pool.    Late Night Dinner At Tori Oso Paramaribo Under The Super Blue Moon Hello, my Dearest Story Time friends from around the world. How are you guys doing? I'm still floating above water and making the best out of life. This time I'm taking you guys on another food adventure at Tori Oso in Paramaribo. We're revisiting this cafe for a late-night dinner under the super blue moon.  Tori Oso is famous for their burgers, so we decided to try out some of their other dishes to review for you guys.  When we got in it was crowded. Sometimes the places are also rented out for parties and other events. This was one of those nights, but we still managed to find seats in the almost full house (oso means house in sranang tongo). I ordered a pina colada because I loved the dawet infused one they gave me last time. 🧉 But this time the pina colada was different. It came in a smaller glass and had a slice of orange in it.  New Tea Lelydorp, A Sweet Tooth's Adventure Hello friends, how have you been? Let's go on a sweet tooth adventure to New Tea Lelydorp! I accidentally discovered this place. My plan was to visit another popular milk tea shop that I've written about before on my blog, but they were closed early. As we drove by Lelydorp, I spotted New Tea. It's a new location and it's right by the bus stop. You can't miss it when you are in the city of Lelydorp.  The place is nicely decorated on the inside and it has a cute vibe. There are even chairs and benches for you to enjoy your milk tea, smoothie, or snacks on the spot. I liked the small details in their decor, for example, the science clock that they hung behind their cash register. I ordered a strawberry milk tea with blueberry jellies. Curiosity got the best of me so I had to try some of their egg waffle options. I chose the skewered egg waffles with chocolate sauce. But you can also choose other toppings to go with th

 Javanese Food From Warung Mbah Paidjah Hello my Story Time friends, today The Story Time U.F.O. 👽👾🛸 is once again landing in a small South American Country called Suriname. Well, small in population but about 4 times the size of the Netherlands. Our journey takes us to the year 2023 in Paramaribo Noord. We land at Blauwgrond, a popular food destination for locals and tourists. In this area, you will find many Javanese Warungs selling food. It's kind of like the Surinamese version of late-night street food. The Warungs also offer their services during the day, but they are more frequently visited at night time. Grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family at Blauwgrond has become a part of the Surinamese nightlife culture.  I went to Warung Mbah Paidjah with my friends and I'm taking you guys along on this Surinamese foodie adventure.
