But I try to post more often these days. Every time I get the chance I sneak away from my busy life to find the space to keep in touch with you.  Story Time: Sausages from the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp Hello my dearest Story Time readers from around the world, how have you guys been doing? I am back with some new content from the tropical country of Suriname. Today I want to talk to you about the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp. The name is kind of deceiving in English. Worst means sausages in dutch. When it comes to worst, Surinamese people don't joke around. When you are in the country you will find a " worst stand ( sausage stand)" on almost every corner. The famous variations of sausages to get in Suriname are BBQ sausages, Crispy Sausages, and the original sausage that is well known by the locals. While driving in Lelydorp one night, I discovered this small attractive spot. The lights they used for decor gave off a warm and inviting look.  I stopped on the Indira Gandhi weg and that is how I first got acquainted with the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp. Today I have a juicy and delicious story to share with you guys.  Today we are going to talk about the most famous roti shop in Suriname Roopram.  This Surinamese restaurant has become so famous that it even branched out in Amsterdam. So even if you can't make it all the way to South America, if you are in Amsterdam you get to have a taste of my home country.  Now you must be wondering, how did roti an Indian recipe end up all the way in Suriname, South America?  We have to go back in time and take a deeper look at the history of Suriname and its cultures to answer that.  As I mentioned a lot of times on my blog Suriname is a multicultured society. I am back with another Story for you guys.  If you are ever planning to visit Suriname, I recommend that you do! There is one thing that you must add to your bucket list during your travels. And that is exploring the interior of Suriname. This tropical country that is located in South America and the Caribbean is also known as the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Our neighbors are Brazil in the south, Guyana in the west, and French Guyana in the east. In the north, my country borders the Atlantic Ocean.  We are called the heart of the Amazon rainforest for a good reason. I am doing great, trying to get by where I can. While still having so much on my plate. The good news is, I love how much more time I make available to create content for you guys.  For this Story Time edition, we are visiting a famous Chinese restaurant in Paramaribo. The restaurant is named Chi Min and they are located quite close to most main tourist places in Paramaribo. For example Torarica, Waterkant, and other famous hot spots in the city. Chi Min has been around for a long time, and it's been one of my favorite spots to visit throughout the years. Hello, my dearest Story Time readers from around the world, I hope you guys enjoy the video of my friends and me chilling at Tap a watra falls in the district of Sipaliwini. Suriname is indeed a beautiful part of the Amazon rainforest. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, but the memories we make and the people that surround us while we are creating these beautiful moments do matter. They will become a part of the legacy that we leave behind. They will be the moments we treasure and long for in our old age.  It's very important that we keep making beautiful memories on our life path. The way we enjoy our life and the way we feed ourselves with positivity impact what we make out of ourselves. It influences the direction that we take, and it motivates us to stay strong. I am even feeling a cold coming up. It's a good thing this South American/ Caribbean country is rich in fruit.  So I am stacking up these vitamins, especially since it still feels like I am living in a pandemic.  Despite my busy schedule I still try to find the time to create content for you guys.
