Finding My Voice In Mandarin

Finding My Voice in Mandarin What’s up, Story Time family!✨ If you’ve been following my journey here at Story Time Productions , you know I’m always looking for new ways to sharpen my craft and expand the horizons of our stories. Back in October, I decided to take a leap into something completely different: I signed up for the HSK 1 course at the Confucius Institute right here in Suriname. 📚 Three Months of Hustle I’ll be honest—learning a language as intricate as Chinese is like learning to see the world through a whole new lens. It was a whirlwind three months of characters, tones, and grammar. But the hard work paid off! I officially passed my exam for lessons 1–8, and I am hyped to announce that I’m moving straight into the next course. 🚀 🎬 The Vlog: Closing Ceremony Vibes In today’s episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of our Closing Ceremony . It was such an inspiring atmosphere! You’ll get to see: Snippets of the official speeches. Talented students from various level...

Valentine doughnuts

Story Time: Valentine doughnuts from Wake&Bake and food from Twins Pizza&Burgers

" Valentine themed doughnuts from Wake&Bake"

Hello guys, how was your Valentine's Day? In this story time, I want to talk about mine.

First of all, there is this baking shop that I discovered a long time ago. I am going to do a separate blog post on them and the different desserts that I ordered, so don't forget to hop onto the Story Time U.F.O. if you want to stay updated on my new blog posts.

I am in love with their desserts. This time, I placed an order for Valentine's Day and got these cute-looking desserts. They were almost too cute to eat, but I have no regrets—it was worth every bite. They were topped with a chocolate ganache, and some even had a delicious, creamy Nutella filling.

Even the dough had a unique taste. I had to try to control myself from eating all of it, so I ended up sharing it with my loved ones. The most spoiled among them is probably my little brother. He's technically not allowed to snack yet, but somehow, even he couldn't resist the freshly baked charm that Wake & Bake desserts provide.

Later that night, we decided to head back to Paramaribo towards the famous Wilhelminastraat. Right across the street from KokoBana in a small building, you will find Twins Pizza & Burgers!

When you enter the cute spot, their menu is immediately visible. But you have to be lucky not to find yourself in a line. The scent of freshly baked pizza fills the air. We decided to go with the chicken mozzarella cheese pizza, and no, I am not getting paid for this advertisement! I'm just trying to share more about my country with you all. What I liked most about the pizza was the cheese; I loved seeing that cheese pull.

But I don't want to bore you with my writing, so I might as well share a video that I made with you all. Let's just say this month your queen is rocking some awesome vibes, and she is going to share more of that on this blog.

Okay, I regret deleting the old posts! It would be awesome to see the before and after moments on Story Time!

If you actually go through my blog, it's starting to look like a book—a collection of stories. Yes, this is a subliminal teaser for my new upcoming book promo! Have fun, enjoy the video, and until the next story! I can't wait to see where all these adventures will lead us in the future.
