Breakfast Etagere at Tangelo

Breakfast Etagere at Tangelo in Paramaribo

" Shachem Lieuw having Breakfast Etagere at Tangelo"

Hello my dearest Story Time friends from around the world, I am sending you nothing but positive vibes as I am writing this post. For today's Story Time adventure, I am taking you along to breakfast at Tangelo in Paramaribo. In the beautiful country of Suriname, there are many delicious food options to be found. This tropical country should be on every foodie's bucket list.  Located in South America and a part of the Caribbean you can find many dishes from around the world in Suriname. I saw the ad that Tangelo was having a breakfast Etagere event. I never experienced a breakfast Etagere on my tastebuds before. I contacted them to make reservations, but my app never seemed to have arrived. 😪That's why I gave them a call early in the morning. This time I had a more positive experience with the Torarica staff. What can I say? In this world, no person is the same. She helped me get it sorted out, and called me back to let me know that I was in luck that there was an opening. Thank goodness, because, after this delightful breakfast, my taste buds have entered a whole new world. 👽Tangelo restaurant is a part of the Torarica group. It's on the hotel premises and a popular hang-out spot for tourists.  At night you have a great view of the Surinamese party life from Tangelo's balcony. In the area, there are many other famous spots. But that's for another Story Time episode, so make sure you subscribe by entering your email address when you see that Story Time U.F.O. pop up on your screen.🛸🛸You are always welcome to become a member of my Story Time tribe.💓Anyway when I got the good news that my reservation was successful I did everything I could to make it on time. I still ended up being 8 minutes late, but in chill Suriname my 8 minutes late is an hour early. Having a hectic life I value time, especially if it's mine. If I give you a minute of my life, you should be happy. Behind the scenes, there might be hundreds of people who are craving a second of my attention. Fine, I'll crawl into my humble personality again and put the crown aside for a minute while writing to you. That's why I like to teach the people around me to value time. You never know how much of it you have left. So while I am kicking I am making the best of mine. I get to do my social work, the projects I love, create, be there for my people, wear my crown, live a life without the glasses on and so much more with proper time management. My rule is simple if you wasted it you are going to have to give it back to those who needed my time more. I also like to multi-task, I had a couple of important meetings today.  And I managed to incorporate them into a relaxing vibe. That way even a bad work day doesn't seem like a bad work day. I don't enjoy calling them bad working days. I see them as experiences, for me waking up each day is already a blessing. Self-love has taught me to practice gratitude like that, and the rest automatically followed.💅💅 I have been through enough in my life and learned even more from others to know that even the moments that seem bad can be a blessing in disguise. We might not realize it yet, but it's all in the game of life indeed. And since I believe in God, all I do is trust the process and pray for guidance.📿📿That prayer is served with a daily dose of gratitude no matter how many struggles I might face. And yet here I am, a place many said wouldn't be possible. Writing stories that have been read on all continents of the world. A girl from a dutch speaking country starting an English Story Time breakfast at Tangelo in Paramaribo article with a complex philosophy for an introduction. 😚 They have AI now to write stories and blog posts. But one thing AI can't fake is a personality or maybe it can? Meh, I like getting creative anyway!

Before we dive into this breakfast foodie adventure at Tangelo I close my eyes and my wish for you is to be happy and at peace. See, I do keep you in my warm thoughts!😎😘😜 Moving on to this delicious breakfast Etagere. Torarica, hear me out and you know I am blunt if you've ever even seen my content! Besides the Instagram ones, if you do more breakfasts like this, you will see more of my face! I don't know how yet, but we are going to make it happen! All I am asking for is more breakfast Etagere's por favor!😓 I am even willing to take this negotiation to a native sranang tongo level ( local Surinamese tongue). Seriously guys if they reintroduce this and if you can, do it! I have never finished so much food in one hit before without my stomach wanting to betray me! The food was so great that I just couldn't stop eating.  I made a video about my breakfast Etagere at Tangelo for you guys. Excuse me while I emotionally collect myself for wanting more. If you bring back this breakfast Torarica, I'll forgive all the other things.👀 I am conflicted because at Torarica they just buy me over with the food. Last time it was the black forest cake and this time it's the healthy but awesome breakfast etagere.😭😭Anyone got a tissue to wipe away my foodie tears of joy? It was rainy weather, but that didn't bother me. I gave the experience a 9 out of 10 in the video that I made. But now that I think about it, Tangelo deserved that 10 out of 10 for such a good breakfast and service. But I am holding onto that one point unless I get more breakfast deals like this!💅💅

" Bailey's coffee with whipped cream from Tangelo"

You guys know I am a coffee lover! I even brought myself some coffee from the Dominican Republic back home. Tangelo their menu has many coffee options. I chose Bailey's coffee and Stew who joined me for this breakfast adventure ordered the Affogato coffee. Without him knowing it, it had a shot of his favorite drink. Amaretto, a serving of Ice cream, and some brewed coffee. A combination that worked well. The Bailey's coffee was also delicious! The taste of the coffee mixed well with Bailey's. There were so many things on the breakfast Etagere, that it felt like a feast was going on. The waiter did explain everything included in the breakfast Etagere. But when she popped up, I was a bit too late with filming.  I might not get all the breakfast item names right. But I got pictures, and I would recommend trying this out on your travels through Suriname.

"Affogato coffee from Tangelo, A shot of amaretto with ice cream and coffee"
I was so excited to see salmon on it. In the last couple of years, I have come to love salmon and now I try to incorporate it into my diet as often as I can for the health benefits. I got so excited that I forgot to add the sour cream on top of it. Although the waiter did mention it in the beginning. Ahh well, it was so good that I have no regrets. The Salmon was soft to chew, and I could easily take a bite from it. It was served on bread, don't ask me what kind of bread it was. I forgot, 😋It happens when you are focusing more on the food.
"Shachem Lieuw enjoying her breakfast Etagere at Tangelo"

There was also greek yogurt with sweet walnuts, pancakes with cherry jam, a fruit bowl, egg salad, cheese, chicken sliders, bread and chicken ham, lettuce, microgreens, and chia seeds included. It was all just a deliciously healthy combination that went down without problems. And I say that because I was the first to finish my breakfast. It has been a long time since I had so much to eat in one sitting. I went through this breakfast like it was a delightful treat.

"Waffles with strawberry jelly from the breakfast Etagere at Tangelo in Paramaribo"
The waffles weren't too sweet and were well-balanced with the cherry jam and the cherries. The chicken sliders had an awesome seasoning to them. It tasted like a spicy sweet chicken burger. The bread didn't sit heavy on my stomach and eating all those microgreens made me feel energized for the day. They have a lot of other meal options at Tangelo. You can have a sneak peek at their menu in the video that I made. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed having the breakfast Etagere at Tangelo in Paramaribo. If the service is good, I don't mind leaving a tip. This time the tip was for a wonderful breakfast experience. Times are tough in Suriname, with inflation happening. If you can, tip the waiters! After all, this was the best breakfast I have experienced in Suriname to date. Don't forget to subscribe until next time right here on Story Time. Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa

Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa Hello Story Time friends, welcome back! I'm taking you along on another vlog. This video was made on a hectic day. I split the content of my adventures into different parts. So make sure you subscribe and stay tuned. There are a lot of stories that I still have to finish. I wish I had more time for my creative projects. But with my lifestyle in Suriname that is not realistic! Anyway, we're going paint shopping in different stores. I visited HJ De Vries, Malhoe's Building Materials, and a Historex retailer. When we were done combing through stores for our project, I was hungry and tired! So we decided to go to Warung Resa. Their Javanese food reminds me of my late grandmother's and aunt's cooking. It's flavorful and authentic. We had the Gudanang and the Long Tong Tahoe. Both are traditional dishes in Javanese culture. Long Tong Tahoe is made with bean sprouts, Tahoe, and chicken. It's then drizzled with a spicy

Green Key Expo At Torarica

Green Awareness Expo At Torarica Hola mi amigos welcome back to a new Story Time adventure! There is a vibrant city in the beating heart of the Amazon rainforest! This city is rich with multi-ethnic culture and flavorful food. Of course, I am talking about Paramaribo. Living in the Amazon Rainforest, we're surrounded by greenery. But these parts of the Amazon Rainforest haven't been unaffected by global warming. The recent droughts where multiple rivers and creeks were empty is an example. The gold mining and wood exploitation that happens in our jungles is affecting the beauty of our land. Protecting the Amazon Rainforest means protecting the lungs of the world. Green awareness is a topic that's often mentioned in this part of the world. Hotel Torarica organized a Green Key fair and of course, I had to visit! Now I can finally share the Story with you guys! Creating these Story Time episodes takes a lot of work. So I'd appreciate it if you subscribe and join our tri

Shadows Of Love

Shadows Of Love Sometimes you must shuffle the deck a few times to be dealt the right hand. And sometimes you meet that King Of Hearts in the first move that the game will demand. In the shadows of love, there are many secrets hidden. Something about you felt familiar, calm, and at the same time forbidden. I wonder what the universe was conspiring when our paths crossed. From a distance, I felt your eyes capture my soul. Maybe this is a story that should never be told! But they say that if you want to enter the paradise of lovers you have to pay the toll! A friend once asked me a question, he said: " What is it you are looking for now that we are getting old?". I told him I wanted someone who could spark my mind, soul, and maybe my inner sexual being. After he exposed the beauty hidden in my poetry, thoughts kept flirting with this hidden feeling. Sometimes we need the right people to ask us the right questions! But sometimes when the ones we hide in our hearts want to kno

Story time with Donovan Dongo, Dongo brothers selected for W.W.E

Storytime with Donovan Dongo, Dongo Brothers selected  The Dongo brothers holding the Surinamese flag in front of the  W.W.E performance center in America. Today I have some good news for the people of Suriname. I know I am a bit late with this story, but what can I say. I have been having problems with my Internet provider for a while now.  If you live in Suriname, you probably can relate. But on with Storytime, today we are going to talk about the Dongo brothers.  These guys have proven that dreams do come true, with a lot of hard work and effort.  The World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E) has selected Donovan and Leandro Dongo to represent Suriname. They made it past their last tryouts and were selected out of 30.000 applicants. The Dongo brothers have proven what they are made of, but they have also put Suriname on the world map when it comes to wrestling entertainment.  Donovan Dongo shares his experiences with Storytime in a video he recorded. Blogger notes: Happy new year! Storytime in 2022

Happy new year, Storytime in 2022 Hi guys, I want to wish all of you a happy new year. I am learning to stay positive no matter the circumstances. Throughout the years I have become a professional at it. The weird thing is, the better I get at it the better my skills become. I have to say I am proud of myself for getting through last year. There were some painful lessons, as usual. I have come to learn that they are a part of the journey that helps me build my successes. The more I embraced positivity the less my anxiety became.  Anxiety can be a messed-up demon, but the warrior in me kind of grew tired of it and decided to stab it. That's the problem when you know how strong you are.  The only thing is, I just wasn't in a hurry to grow up. Especially if you grew up in the public eye like I did. But I have no regrets. Because each step that I made in life also led me to beautiful people and beautiful experiences. The more content I feel with my life, the more my inn
