Pizza Dinner At Ettore's

Welcome back to another Story Time foodie adventure in tropical Paramaribo. On the coast of South America, the rainy season has returned. A relief after witnessing the rivers go dry in Suriname.😤 On this particular night, I remember the rain pouring all night. That's how I knew that the rainy season was about to begin. My friends visited me and we went on an unexpected food adventure! Since we were all craving Pizza, we decided to go to Ettore's Pizza. It's the authentic Italian Pizza restaurant located on the property of the Hotel Courtyard by Marriott in Paramaribo. When we walked in, the rain had stopped. I took that as a sign from the Gods that we were about to be blessed with some warm and delicious food. Despite the rainy weather, many people were still seated at the restaurants in the courtyard's backyard at the Courtyard by Marriott in Paramaribo. A hostess seated us, and we received the menu in our hands. I like the cozy interior design of Ettore's. There are elements everywhere that highlight the Italian culinary origin of Ettore's. The open-air kitchen gave an authentic view of the Pizza oven where all the delicious magic happens. The ceiling featured vines and hanging grapes, adding to the restaurant's charming decor. When the waitress returned, my friends and I had already decided what we wanted to order from their diverse menu. We ordered the Quattro Formaggi. According to Ettore's menu, the Quattro Formaggi is a classic Italian Pizza. This Pizza is extra cheesy! The dish consists of four different cheeses. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend eating much in one sitting. Since the salt can climb to your head. The Quatro Formaggi was beautiful, and its strong, cheesy aroma filled our surroundings.
The chicken balanced out some of that cheese. But after two slices, I had enough salty flavors bursting in my mouth. This dish is meant to be shared. The affogato arrived at my table just in time! I poured my espresso coffee over a scoop of ice cream, and the perfect blend to awaken my taste buds was born. We also ordered another pizza. I read online that eating salmon is good for the body. That's why I try to incorporate salmon more into my diet. When I saw the salmon pizza with apple slices on the menu, I couldn't resist!😂 Don't crucify me for being a fruit lover. If I enjoy eating Pizza with pineapple, you can bet that I am going to enjoy Pizza with apple slices! Both pizzas arrived at our table simultaneously. I must admit that the service at the Courtyard by Marriott in Paramaribo is speedy!
The salmon pizza was gorgeous!😍 I suppose this is what they mean when they say food is a universal language of love. Okay, I said that! Quote me on it, for once.😂 It was a windy and cold night in the tropical city of Paramaribo. The music in the background was calming and subtle. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter from the guests. In Suriname, these moments that we get to share with the people in our lives are the ones I cherish the most. It doesn't matter how long our bond lasted or will last; I just acknowledge that it's a part of my journey. My blog helps me keep those memories alive!
