The Quiet Throne: A Poem on True Power

"That’s not power. Power acts; it does not speak. Real power is the refusal to let the world corrupt your soul—it is the bravery to act from your most authentic self. What they chase is merely an illusion. The truly powerful hold power over themselves." - Shachem Lieuw The Quiet Throne: A Poem on True Power 👑✨ In a world that screams for attention, we often mistake noise for authority. We think the loudest voice in the room holds the crown, but as I’ve learned through my journey in tech, entrepreneurship, and roaming the districts of Suriname, real power doesn't need to introduce itself. It isn't found in a title or a bank account. It’s found in the mirror. The Illusion and the Truth They think it’s a roar, a thunderous sound, A name carved in stone, or a foot on the ground. Breakfast At Rock Oil Magenta

 Breakfast At Rock Oil Magenta

"Cappuccino from Rock Oil Magentakanaalweg"

Welcome back, Story Time friends! Today, your Story Time U.F.O. is landing in the district of Wanica. Gas station food isn't an unknown concept in the world. In Suriname, we have our own popular gas station food hot spots. Because of our small population, ours aren't as big compared to the ones you can find abroad. One of the popular gas stations in Suriname for purchasing food and snacks is Rock Oil. They have a service station located on the Magentakanaalweg. Just as is the case at other Rock Oil service stations, this one also offers food for sale. In the vlog I made, I'm taking you along for breakfast. This Rock Oil doesn't have as many options as the one in the city. But you can still order burgers, fried food, bread, and pasta from their menu. I ordered a shrimp sandwich with a cappuccino. Stew got himself bread with shredded chicken and a cup of French Vanilla bean coffee. They also sell various types of oils for your car's engine. Outside of the Service Station, they placed benches where you can peacefully enjoy your meal. We took that opportunity to dive straight into our breakfast. I enjoyed my bread with shrimp and thought that it was about average. But Stew didn't like his shredded chicken. The breads that they use are toasted. Press play to join us in this foodie episode.
