The Silent Weight: When the Heart Hurts More Than the Body

The Silent Weight: When the Heart Hurts More Than the Body   "The pain of the heart is stronger than the pain of the body." We live in a world that is obsessed with physical healing. We have gyms for our muscles, medicine for our fevers, and bandages for our scrapes. But what do we do when the injury is invisible? As an entrepreneur and someone who spends a lot of time roaming the quiet corners of Suriname, I’ve realized that you can walk ten miles through the bush and feel less exhausted than you do after one hour of heartbreak or betrayal. The body heals with time, but the heart? The heart requires a different kind of bravery. The Invisible Ache A broken bone is a solid thing, A heavy cast, a winter’s sting. The blood will clot, the skin will mend, A physical break we can comprehend. But the heart is a chamber of liquid fire, A tangled web of old desire. Road Trip From Commewijne To Saramacca

Road Trip From Commewijne To Saramacca

" Saramacca River Sign"

Welcome back, friends! Hop on board, because we're going on a Road Trip. For one of our clients, we did some repairs in Saramacca. I seized the opportunity to share a piece of Suriname with my readers. Saramacca is one of the 10 districts in Suriname. This district is popular for its agriculture. We went with the scooter and turned it into an adventure. Our trip started in Commewijne, where we were finishing another project. After doing the work, our stomachs were rumbling and demanding some good food. We stopped at the P&G roti shop. I love how this restaurant has upgraded through the years. You can dine in the restaurant or outside on their terraces. The Roti arrived warm and hit the spot! With fresh energy, we started our journey to Saramacc
. I recorded a vlog of our Road Trip to share with you guys. I wanted to film the riverbanks, but when we drove up on our scooter, we noticed that some people were in the middle of a spiritual bath. That was a good enough reason for us to turn around and give them their privacy. Even these practices are standard in a multi-cultural country like Suriname. On the other side of the bridge, I still managed to get a nice shot of the Saramacca River. Admiring nature in this part of South America brings a sense of peace to the mind. Due to the tropical heat, we stopped at a few stores to purchase a cold drink. It's a good thing that there are many stores on this route. Are you planning on traveling soon?
