The Silent Weight: When the Heart Hurts More Than the Body

The Silent Weight: When the Heart Hurts More Than the Body   "The pain of the heart is stronger than the pain of the body." We live in a world that is obsessed with physical healing. We have gyms for our muscles, medicine for our fevers, and bandages for our scrapes. But what do we do when the injury is invisible? As an entrepreneur and someone who spends a lot of time roaming the quiet corners of Suriname, I’ve realized that you can walk ten miles through the bush and feel less exhausted than you do after one hour of heartbreak or betrayal. The body heals with time, but the heart? The heart requires a different kind of bravery. The Invisible Ache A broken bone is a solid thing, A heavy cast, a winter’s sting. The blood will clot, the skin will mend, A physical break we can comprehend. But the heart is a chamber of liquid fire, A tangled web of old desire. When it bruises, there is no purple stain, Just a hollow echo, a silent rain. You can run from the cold, you can hide f...

House Of The Dead

 House OF The Dead

"Oswald & Griselda, the tale of an ancient forbidden love surviving modern times"

Hello friends, now that the election season in Suriname is over, I finally have more free time for my Story Time Productions Blog. 😂😆 Of course, I'll update you on my experiences in my upcoming blogger notes! Everything just went by so fast. When I have stable internet again, I'll be rapidly posting the stories I'm behind on. 😉 The journey has certainly sparked my creative side and helped me explore a new aspect of my talent! Sparked to put my work out there more, I've created a song called "House Of The Dead". This song serves as a teaser for my upcoming story series, " Oswald & Griselda. A fictional love story that starts in the 16th century. Enjoy the lyrics and the song! 💓
I look forward to sharing more creative content soon! 😎😃

(Verse 1)
When the autumn leaves begin to fall,
And twilight cloaks the village wall,
A hush descends, an eerie calm,
But shadows stir, safe from all harm...
Atop the hill, where secrets creep,
An ancient castle, slumbering deep.
Tubenia's whispers, old and grim,
A curse that binds them, limb by limb!

(Chorus)
Oh, the house of the dead, they warn and say,
Vampires and zombies come out to play.
But hidden within stone walls so grand,
A love untold across the land.
Oswald and Griselda, a tale to unfold,
More than just monsters, brave and bold!

(Verse 2)
Back to the past, the sixteenth century's call,
King Mokkar's reign, overseeing all.
No son to follow, but a daughter true,
Princess Marilda, fierce and new.
A warrior's spirit, sharp and keen,
The kingdom's general is a strategic queen.
For even heroes, brave and bright,
Can find their destiny in the darkest night.

(Chorus)
Oh, the house of the dead, they warn and say,
Vampires and zombies come out to play.
But hidden within stone walls so grand,
A love untold across the land.
Oswald and Griselda, a tale to unfold,
More than just monsters, brave and bold!
