That's why I appreciate it when you join my Story Time U.F.O. 👾👽🛸 to help support me on my content creation journey. This way, I get to take you along on my adventures. As you may know from my last Story Time episode, I celebrated Eid at Courtyard by Marriott Paramaribo, where I explored Mediterranean cuisine at Med by Flavors restaurant.🍲😋🥘 After our flavorful experience, we headed to the Sakura Nikkei cuisine restaurant. I was very excited to write about this Japanese food restaurant that just opened in the Courtyard by Marriott Paramaribo. My visit to Sakura Nikkei cuisine inspired me to connect more closely with my Japanese audience.🏯
It doesn't matter where in the world you're from; on Story Time, you're welcomed with positive vibes. As a writer born and raised in Suriname, I love exploring my creativity. Without that, I wouldn't be able to build stories that have been sold around the world.😎🌍 On my journey of self-love, I have grown significantly as both an individual and a content creator. The result, my dearest readers and watchers, that you've seen develop in front of your eyes on my Story Time blog.💻 My Episode of the game Hunting Crumbs is already live. 🎮 This game starts in the Courtyard by Marriott Paramaribo and takes you on a magical food adventure through the beating heart of the Amazon rainforest, "Suriname". Before we have a taste of Sakura Nikkei Cuisine restaurant, I would like to remind you once again that all of my written content is 100% human-generated.✍ 👀😓😒Like ya'll seriously think that I don't take my time to bring these stories to life?🙄 (Insert bombastic side eye)For me, as a writer, it's about the challenge. 💪 Creating these stories is my craft. Even my books 📖 are authentic; I prefer it that way. No offense to modern AI software, but what would a singer🎤 be if he or she had to depend on AI software to express his or her talent? Those questions I've mostly received from people who are just getting familiar with my blog. If you dig into my blogger notes, you'll find out that I've been writing on this blog for the last 13 years. That was way before AI was a thing. I've been writing since I was a kid, and building this blog is an expression of my artistic side. Speaking of art, do I have some food art to share with you in this dessert lover's adventure? 🍥🎂🥮🍬

Sakura Nikkei cuisine restaurant is a new concept that's part of the Flavors restaurants in Courtyard by Marriott Paramaribo. Who would think that along the coast of South America, in a Dutch-speaking country, you can find the flavors of Japan?🍣🍣🥢🥢🍜🍜
Sakura Nikkei cuisine restaurant has a live cooking station. You can sit by the bar while enjoying the view of the pool as your food is being prepared right in front of your eyes 👀.🍽🍴 Courtyard by Marriott Paramaribo is home to many local and international chefs. With the various types of cuisines available at the Courtyard, they aim to offer a culinary experience as diverse as Suriname. In this warm tropical country, we have people who came from all over the world throughout the centuries. And just as I have mentioned multiple times on my Story Time blog📱 , Surinamese people share their culinary experiences with one another. We even celebrate each other's holidays while indulging in the food.

I must admit that I loved the cherry blossom-themed decorations they had on display. Right next to the Sakura Nikkei cuisine restaurant, you have Meat Us. That's a restaurant focused on meats, as the name suggests. On the bar of Sakura Nikkei cuisine, you'll find a certificate of authenticity for the Wagyu beef 🐄 that they serve. This high-quality Wagyu beef 🐮 is imported from Japan to Miami and then flown to Suriname.
In this Story Time food adventure, we're going to have dessert at the Sakura Nikkei Cuisine restaurant. The first thing we got to try at this Japanese restaurant was the cannolis. I loved the one filled with chocolate. But the other two were also yummy enough to make you lick your lips and fingers clean. The filling was creamy, and the crust was crunchy! But I have to admit that the highlight of the night was the Matcha cheesecake! Without effort, it stole the show. The creativity used to make this dish is what classifies it as food art in my book.

I love cheesecake, and this Matcha cheesecake looked just like a block of cheese with a slice of cheese on top. The strawberries, grapes, and other fruits added to the plate made the Matcha cheesecake resemble a cheese platter being presented in front of us. It wasn't too sweet, and I loved how smooth and creamy it was. Despite having a full stomach, I went all out and finished the entire Matcha cheesecake. At first, I was sad to eat such a masterpiece, but when I took the first bite, I had no regrets.
