Beni's Christmas Palace In Suriname

Beni's Christmas Palace In Suriname Just like in the photo above this text, I am okay but I am not completely okay. I feel awful on the inside and for a long time it was difficult to find the motivation to return to blogging.  Tomorrow's Christmas, so I mustered all of my strength to at least finish another episode. I've been gone for a while because as usual, life got hectic. But this time in a bad way! As you guys know a while ago I started a company in Suriname. Most of my days were spent creating Story Time episodes, working, doing social work or going along to get a taste of the field.  When we go to clients, sometimes I get to see awesome places. Or in between on our journeys we tend to make pitstops. This Story Time episode is supposed to be about my visit to Beni's Christmas palace. But let me tell you about what happened after that first. Just so you can understand how my Christmas spirit, transformed in the energy of mourning. People see the good, but I'l...

Tian You Highway

            Story Time: Tian You Highway

Hi guys how are you doing? Today I want to talk to you about Tian You. As you guys know I like boba and milk tea. It's not the first time I have written about it on this blog.  Feel free to read my Ice and Candy article after you jump onto the Story Time U.F.O. for those of you who are new here.  I just love being able to build a community with you guys and at the same time keep in touch with my community through blogging. It helps a lot when you live a high-pressure life like me.  Maybe that is why I like to relax and just unwind and spoil myself from time to time. Life is short, I have friends who died at a younger age than I am. So I don't want to live my life with regrets, especially when it consists of so much work, time, and energy that I spend on creating the empire that I as a self-proclaimed Queen want to build for myself haha.  In my defense, all classy strong, and empowering ladies wear an invisible crown.  I just like to air mine out from time to time, because self-love helps with that.  The rest of the remaining time and energy I have left get's invested in the development of other people around me. Now you can imagine why a sister gets upset when her energy is unnecessarily drained over the most ridiculous things. My time and my energy are of high value, and sometimes when you come across as a nice person people think that they can play you to their tunes. But no, this Queen can lay down boundaries, and when she does, if you try to push them do so at your own risk. Sometimes I feel it's necessary to show what boundaries people should not cross, so I like to make that very clear in my communication with people. If I don't communicate it, it means it's too late because you knew exactly what you were doing and you did it anyway, because you wanted to test how much of an influence you have on me and how heavy our friendship weighs. If you play games like that with me, you might end up shocking yourself because I don't play those kinds of games. The only games I play are with kids. Especially my little cousins, hey they keep me fit! I would be way more fat if it wasn't for all those hides and seek sessions and tag games. This is why I get along with kids better, they only start manipulating you when you as an adult trigger them. Yet in my experience adults practice manipulating as a habit, it's more like a survival instinct that they feel they have to constantly use. I like to clear my energy field from people like that.  Sometimes we just shouldn't waste any more of our energy on these situations. That's a benefit you can only use when you are aware of it. I don't really like drama, so I tend to avoid it like how I avoid Covid.  This is why I encourage you guys to take care of yourself in different ways. Some people will want to rob you of your peace, don't give them that privilege. Take that home with you as today's wisdom. With all the things I end up doing in my life, I do like these little moments that I can spend on myself. How much time do you get to spend on yourself? If the answer is a lot, consider yourself luckier than most. I believe it is important for us to build our freedom by the definition that we set for ourselves It is a Story Time article, isn't it? So I am allowed to tell a story with it because Tian You isn't paying me for all the free advertisements haha. All jokes aside I love their drinks. I will admit that much, so far I have tried different tastes from different places and I am impressed. At a rapid speed, they are franchising themselves all over the country. I will talk about the different locations in other articles. Their highway location does look very cute.  Just don't go during peak hours, or else you will wait a long time. The service gets really slow when it's overcrowded. But it's not their fault that the Tian  You fever has spread around the country.  The Tian You highway shop is not difficult to find, it's part of the small mall that's on the corner of Highway and the Pandit Paltan Tewari weg.  You can't miss the green building. The top tastes that we recommend are Taro, White rabbit, Honey Dew, Blueberry, and Chocolate. You can pick different toppings and also add boba, and jelly in different flavors like strawberry for example, and yogurt pops. I liked the yogurt pops but it doesn't go well with all the drink combinations. They sell their drinks in 3 sizes. Small, Medium, and large but they also allow you the option to purchase some of their specially designed cups for your drink. Some of them are really cute and I have to admit that I have fallen victim and got myself a couple of cute ones.  A Tian You drink will hit just the right spot on a warm sunny tropical day in Suriname, South America.  The good news is that at the rate their franchise is growing, you can now find them in multiple districts in the country. But that is for another Story Time. So stay tuned, to not miss any episodes of my blog. I made you guys a little video of Tian You Highway. That way you can have an idea of what it's like visiting a Tian You location.   Enjoy the video and until the next adventure, right here at Story Time!
