13 Balloons

13 balloons  I had a bouquet made of 13 balloons. I got them because I wanted to make you feel how you made me feel when we shared our first honeymoon. I tried to hold onto them, like how you held onto me when I needed someone to be there. When I went out to fill them with air, I kept thinking about how I had found the spark that we would come to share. When I am with you, I feel like I have no care.  I could reach for the sky, and you would still hold onto a part of me. I believed that our love had to come from mastery. How else could your eyes keep me in captivity without undressing me? Your mind sparked a fire within my soul that I could not douse. In front of you, I felt as shy as a mouse. In my mind, I’d build an imaginary house.  As my thoughts carried me away, I’d dream of a future that maybe wouldn’t last. They say that when ...

"D'Lish Cafe In Paramaribo"

Hello friends, I want to share a new place with you! In the heart of Paramaribo, there is a cafe named D'lish. They are located on the corner of the Alberga street and the Gravenberch street. When we went it wasn't that crowded. But if you do want a chance to taste their dessert, I recommend going early! By the time we showed up, all their cakes were sold out. I loved how they went all out with their Christmas decorations. My stomach was rumbling and I had a long day ahead of me. Recovering from being sick so many times in a row this year, means that I now take better care of my body and its needs. Too bad I had to go through that bad episode, to figure it out. But it's a good thing that I'm not the type of person to give up on myself. If I was I'd end up listening to those teachers that told me writing was a waste of time years ago.👽👾🛸 Instead I've become the alien 😂that's inviting you to subscribe! With my hungry stomach ruling my mind I ordered a macchiato coffee and a toasted sandwich with shrimp and longbeans. In Suriname, we call that " Broodje garnalen en kouseband.". That's the way you order it in Dutch if you ever find yourself traveling through this part of the Caribbean.😁 We also got bread with spicy chicken. The caramel macchiato was delicious! Because D'lish cafe was about to close, we had to take our order to go.

While they were busy preparing our order, I took out my Nikon and made a few quick shots to share with you guys. The bread was still warm and toasted to be crunchy. I loved my shrimp with Longbeans sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich reminded me of Shoarma. It's flavorful and has a lot of different spices. I made a vlog of my visit to D'lish cafe in Paramaribo for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to subscribe! I have many more foodie and travel adventures to share with you. As the year is approaching its end, I want to thank all of you for all the love and support you've shown me on my content creation journey.💓 Where will you be traveling to next year?
