Sunday Afternoon In The Garden

Sunday Afternoon In The Garden Hello Story Time friends, how have you been? I've been busy! Life is a game of survival and each day we throw the dice. But I am sure that's a feeling many people can relate to. The important thing is that you don't give up because you believe in the things you're creating. Some bricks are heavy to carry, but with a lot of prayer and hard work, we survive the punches of the world. We are out working every day from morning till late in the night. Although we have a lot of things to juggle and face many challenges, we still try to find the time to fix our environment. One Sunday afternoon we were busy in the garden. It was time to cut the grass flat. In the Surinamese garden, it's always a battle against grass. We love greenery, but in our garden, we'd rather have that in the form of vegetables, flowers, and plants.  I've made sure to spread out as many Tulsi seeds as I could. There is something about the scent of this plant t...

D'lish Cafe In Paramaribo

"D'Lish Cafe In Paramaribo"

Hello friends, I want to share a new place with you! In the heart of Paramaribo, there is a cafe named D'lish. They are located on the corner of the Alberga street and the Gravenberch street. When we went it wasn't that crowded. But if you do want a chance to taste their dessert, I recommend going early! By the time we showed up, all their cakes were sold out. I loved how they went all out with their Christmas decorations. My stomach was rumbling and I had a long day ahead of me. Recovering from being sick so many times in a row this year, means that I now take better care of my body and its needs. Too bad I had to go through that bad episode, to figure it out. But it's a good thing that I'm not the type of person to give up on myself. If I was I'd end up listening to those teachers that told me writing was a waste of time years ago.👽👾🛸 Instead I've become the alien 😂that's inviting you to subscribe! With my hungry stomach ruling my mind I ordered a macchiato coffee and a toasted sandwich with shrimp and longbeans. In Suriname, we call that " Broodje garnalen en kouseband.". That's the way you order it in Dutch if you ever find yourself traveling through this part of the Caribbean.😁 We also got bread with spicy chicken. The caramel macchiato was delicious! Because D'lish cafe was about to close, we had to take our order to go.

While they were busy preparing our order, I took out my Nikon and made a few quick shots to share with you guys. The bread was still warm and toasted to be crunchy. I loved my shrimp with Longbeans sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich reminded me of Shoarma. It's flavorful and has a lot of different spices. I made a vlog of my visit to D'lish cafe in Paramaribo for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to subscribe! I have many more foodie and travel adventures to share with you. As the year is approaching its end, I want to thank all of you for all the love and support you've shown me on my content creation journey.💓 Where will you be traveling to next year?
