A Gladiator's Feast: Rico's Foodtruck

A Gladiator's Feast: Rico's Foodtruck Hello fellow foodies! Welcome back to another culinary adventure. πŸ˜πŸ˜€This time, our food hunt takes us to Rico's A Gladiator Foodtruck , located at Wilhelminastraat 40 in Paramaribo. Rico's serves up a delicious array of burgers, shoarmas, and wraps. πŸ” We paid them a visit on a typically hot Paramaribo night, and my friend Dev-Lin was our official taste-tester for the evening. He got to try their cheeseburger and, after we finished filming, he couldn't stop joking about how Rico's was going to "take all his money." Giving it a high-praise rating of 11 out of 10, Dev-Lin's wallet surrendered as his stomach vowed to try every single item on their menu.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… One thing to keep in mind is that Rico's isn't open every day. So, before you head over, be sure to check their Facebook page for their current opening hours. Don't drool too much while watching our yummy food adventure. πŸ˜‹πŸ€€Have fun, and until...

"D'Lish Cafe In Paramaribo"

Hello, friends! I'd like to share a new place with you. In the heart of Paramaribo, there is a cafe named D'lish. They are located on the corner of Alberga Street and Gravenberch Street. When we went, it wasn't that crowded. But if you do want a chance to taste their dessert, I recommend going early! By the time we arrived, all their cakes had sold out. I loved how they went all out with their Christmas decorations. My stomach was rumbling, and I had a long day ahead of me. Recovering from being sick so many times in a row this year has taught me to take better care of my body and its needs. Too bad I had to go through that bad episode to figure it out. But it's a good thing that I'm not the type of person to give up on myself. If I was I'd end up listening to those teachers that told me writing was a waste of time years ago.πŸ‘½πŸ‘ΎπŸ›Έ Instead, I've become the alien πŸ˜‚that's inviting you to subscribe! With my hungry stomach ruling my mind, I ordered a macchiato coffee and a toasted sandwich with shrimp and long beans. In Suriname, we call that "Broodje garnalen en kouseband." That's the way you order it in Dutch, in case you ever find yourself traveling through this part of the Caribbean.😁 We also got bread with spicy chicken. The caramel macchiato was delicious! Because D'lish cafe was about to close, we had to take our order to go.

While they were busy preparing our order, I took out my Nikon and snapped a few quick shots to share with you. The bread was still warm and toasted to a crunchy texture. I loved my shrimp with a long bean sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich reminded me of shawarma. It's flavorful and has a lot of different spices. I made a vlog of my visit to D'lish cafe in Paramaribo for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to subscribe! I have many more foodie and travel adventures to share with you. As the year draws to a close, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for the love and support you've shown me throughout my content creation journey.πŸ’“ Where will you be traveling to next year?
