Hello my dearest Stoy Time readers, how are you doing in your part of the world? As you guys can already notice from my blog food is very important in the Surinamese culture. If there is one thing that we are crafted at, it is the way that Surinamese people share their love through food. When you are in Suriname and you make friends, it won't take long before they stuff you full with their hospitality. Thanks to the different Surinamese cultures living together we offer a large variety of choices for whenever you are feeling hungry.  In today's Story Time I visited one of the many Saeri locations that you can find across the country. The one I visited is located at Latour. Latour is a famous food hotspot in Suriname.  When you are in Latour, you will have many options to pick from. This time I picked warung Saeri because I was craving their Bami. It was okay but not as good as some of the other Saeri warungs in Suriname. After that, I went shopping in the different Chinese stores that you can find in the Lelydorp area.  Suriname is rich in Chinese stores and most of them offer a large assortment of products for sale. By night time I was hungry again! But with my lifestyle, I don't always have the time to cook something up. I needed something that was and that would taste good. That's how I ended up at Denello's. Denello's is a famous food pick-up location in Lelydorp. They sell burgers, ribs, steak, and other meat dishes.  My favorite is their shoarma mix. It consists of shoarma with fries and bbq chicken. I have to admit that Surinamese people love a good BBQ! I definitely recommend that you try out Denello's whenever you are on the Indira Gandhi weg in Suriname.  I made you guys another video so that you can go along with me on my adventures.
