New office chair from MN International

Story Time: Setting up my new office chair from MN International Suriname

Hello my dearest Story Time readers, how have you been? I am doing fine, and as you have noticed I have been busy on my content creation journey. I like to thank all of my readers who support me. Don't forget to check out my Book Store if you want to purchase my new book called S.O.S. ( Save Our Souls) it's going to be a part of a book series.  If you are an Amazon Prime user you can borrow my book for free, as long as it is available on the Kindle market. I am planning to launch the other parts soon.  Just stand still behind your screen so our Story Time U.F.O can abduct you to join in on our adventures.  Once you fill in your e-mail address you won't miss any more important updates.  I spend a lot of time behind my computer and even my phone to create content for you guys. As a blogger, you have to keep updating and upgrading as you grow. Right now I am in that process.  I am still testing out the waters and figuring out what's the right kind of equipment for me. That's why I am also sharing these stories with you guys. Just in case you are interested in becoming a blogger as well, I can share my experiences with you. That way you don't have to figure out the same thing twice. I remember when I first started out, I was googling all over the place. You might be surprised how many things turned out to be just blogging myths.  But I will go into more depth about that in my other blogger notes. The most important thing to do when you are blogging is to have fun with it. The rest will follow as you keep growing and developing your skills.  You don't need to go beyond your budget to start jour journey as a content creator. If there is one benefit that modern-day technology provides us it is the ability to create with limited resources. The more innovative and creative you become, the easier it is to bring your dreams to life. As a writer, I can spend hours typing. If it's not because of my blog or books it is due to the countless courses that I am taking at this moment.  I am a diverse individual, which means that I try to juggle too much at the same time.  Spending hours in a row working on building your dreams and creating the reality that you envision isn't always a healthy thing. Now I know why a famous innovative entrepreneur kept warning that it isn't healthy for a person to work this many hours.  But it's a good thing that all great leaders have an even better team behind the scenes. That helps take the load off a lot, or else I don't know how I would manage to pull it off.  As a matter of fact, I don't think I would even have the motivation to get out there in certain areas of my life if it wasn't because of the fact that I am inspired by the people around me. If you want to grow and heal from the most impossible wounds in life ( for my old subscribers that remember most of the old posts, you can snicker with me), it is important that you set your vibrations as high as you possibly can. I have learned not to lower that for anyone anymore. That way I am surrounded by the people that matter.  Those are the ones that at least try to understand and help you grow and evolve.  They don't drain you, put you down, take advantage of your kindness or think that they are privileged. It's actually a thin line because sometimes when you spoil people they can't tell the difference anymore. It's only when they find out how rare, scarce, and unavailable your love is that they start to panic. But that's not the kind of situation hearts like mine strive to create. Hearts like mine know that sometimes being the crutch does more harm than good.   Either way, as I always say it is, what it is.  I want to say Ied Mubarak to all my Muslim friends celebrating bodo. In Suriname, it is a national holiday, and I have to be honest I am one spoiled Queen.  A lot of loving and caring people sent me food from different parts of the country. I will be sharing some of it with you guys, but not everything.  Hey, a sister has the right to some privacy whaaha.  I am really thankful and grateful for the friends that care about me and show me, love.  When you do good, it comes back to you. That is one universal law that I have explored over and over again. Even when people can't see it from my perspective. But when you are as different as I am, you just don't blame them. You understand that all of us are out here struggling, and that's where self-love helps.   Anyway, working as much as I do I had to get myself a new comfortable office chair. In the future, I will be trying out different kinds of office chairs and reviewing them on my blog. For one weird reason or another, I am obsessed with finding the perfect kind of office chair for creators like me.  I saw that MN international Suriname had a sale on office chairs. I got the model that's in this Youtube video for the price of SRD1240,-. Not a bad deal, so in this article, I am reviewing this model.  As you can see in the video we set it up, and I have to say for its price range I am impressed. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done and makes it easier on the back. Just make sure that you don't tilt your head down, by creating the right screen position.  Because man, that has done some serious damage to my posture in the past. I made mistakes, and I am passing the knowledge onto you so you don't repeat them. We content creators often tend to even get creative with all the positions we take just to bring our vision to life.  But again it is what it is and self-love teaches us that investing in yourself and your health pays off in the long run. Let's be business savvy with the life decisions we make from now on haha. 😝 I would rate this chair a 3 out of 5, especially how it's not bad for its price range.  It was also easy to set up because you receive it in a box.  When setting it up is an easy task, that's a plus point. This model doesn't have any armrests so make, sure that it's something you are comfortable with first. What model do you think I should do next? Let me know in the comment section if you have a certain brand of office chairs and computer chairs in mind, I would love to hear from you. Keep in mind that at the moment I am comparing it to South American and Caribbean Standards. I hope you guys enjoyed this Story Time, and I can't wait to see you soon.

A Foodie Adventure At Taman Indah Resort Hello my friends, today our Story Time U.F.O. 🛸is taking you for a rough landing in the district of Commewijne. We found ourselves in Tamanredjo again. This place is popular for the amount Javanese warungs that you can find there. Most of our Neighbors that cross to Suriname from French Guyana stop here for a snack before making their way to the capital, Paramaribo. Among one of the popular restaurants in this area there is Taman Indah Resort. They are famous for their Berkat and their swimming pool. If you want to know what a Berkat is, make sure to subscribe to my Story Time blog. I'll be publishing more stories about food from the different cultures in Suriname for you guys!😁😀 We went to Tamanredjo at night time with hungry stomachs. Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa

Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa Hello Story Time friends, welcome back! I'm taking you along on another vlog. This video was made on a hectic day. I split the content of my adventures into different parts. So make sure you subscribe and stay tuned. There are a lot of stories that I still have to finish. I wish I had more time for my creative projects. But with my lifestyle in Suriname that is not realistic! Anyway, we're going paint shopping in different stores. I visited HJ De Vries, Malhoe's Building Materials, and a Historex retailer. When we were done combing through stores for our project, I was hungry and tired! So we decided to go to Warung Resa. Their Javanese food reminds me of my late grandmother's and aunt's cooking. It's flavorful and authentic. We had the Gudanang and the Long Tong Tahoe. Both are traditional dishes in Javanese culture. Long Tong Tahoe is made with bean sprouts, Tahoe, and chicken. It's then drizzled with a spicy

Green Key Expo At Torarica

Green Awareness Expo At Torarica Hola mi amigos welcome back to a new Story Time adventure! There is a vibrant city in the beating heart of the Amazon rainforest! This city is rich with multi-ethnic culture and flavorful food. Of course, I am talking about Paramaribo. Living in the Amazon Rainforest, we're surrounded by greenery. But these parts of the Amazon Rainforest haven't been unaffected by global warming. The recent droughts where multiple rivers and creeks were empty is an example. The gold mining and wood exploitation that happens in our jungles is affecting the beauty of our land. Protecting the Amazon Rainforest means protecting the lungs of the world. Green awareness is a topic that's often mentioned in this part of the world. Hotel Torarica organized a Green Key fair and of course, I had to visit! Now I can finally share the Story with you guys! Creating these Story Time episodes takes a lot of work. So I'd appreciate it if you subscribe and join our tri

Shadows Of Love

Shadows Of Love Sometimes you must shuffle the deck a few times to be dealt the right hand. And sometimes you meet that King Of Hearts in the first move that the game will demand. In the shadows of love, there are many secrets hidden. Something about you felt familiar, calm, and at the same time forbidden. I wonder what the universe was conspiring when our paths crossed. From a distance, I felt your eyes capture my soul. Maybe this is a story that should never be told! But they say that if you want to enter the paradise of lovers you have to pay the toll! A friend once asked me a question, he said: " What is it you are looking for now that we are getting old?". I told him I wanted someone who could spark my mind, soul, and maybe my inner sexual being. After he exposed the beauty hidden in my poetry, thoughts kept flirting with this hidden feeling. Sometimes we need the right people to ask us the right questions! But sometimes when the ones we hide in our hearts want to kno

Keep in mind that they only rec

Story time with Donovan Dongo, Dongo brothers selected for W.W.E

Storytime with Donovan Dongo, Dongo Brothers selected  The Dongo brothers holding the Surinamese flag in front of the  W.W.E performance center in America. Today I have some good news for the people of Suriname. I know I am a bit late with this story, but what can I say. I have been having problems with my Internet provider for a while now.  If you live in Suriname, you probably can relate. But on with Storytime, today we are going to talk about the Dongo brothers.  These guys have proven that dreams do come true, with a lot of hard work and effort.  The World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E) has selected Donovan and Leandro Dongo to represent Suriname. They made it past their last tryouts and were selected out of 30.000 applicants. The Dongo brothers have proven what they are made of, but they have also put Suriname on the world map when it comes to wrestling entertainment.  Donovan Dongo shares his experiences with Storytime in a video he recorded. But since I have a

Blogger notes: Happy new year! Storytime in 2022

Happy new year, Storytime in 2022 Hi guys, I want to wish all of you a happy new year. I am learning to stay positive no matter the circumstances. Throughout the years I have become a professional at it. The weird thing is, the better I get at it the better my skills become. I have to say I am proud of myself for getting through last year. There were some painful lessons, as usual. I have come to learn that they are a part of the journey that helps me build my successes. The more I embraced positivity the less my anxiety became.  Anxiety can be a messed-up demon, but the warrior in me kind of grew tired of it and decided to stab it. That's the problem when you know how strong you are.  The only thing is, I just wasn't in a hurry to grow up. Especially if you grew up in the public eye like I did. But I have no regrets. Because each step that I made in life also led me to beautiful people and beautiful experiences. The more content I feel with my life, the more my inn
