Halloween At Zin Resort In Paramaribo

Halloween At Grand Cafe Zin In Paramaribo My dear Story Time friends, I am writing you again to share another memory from tropical Paramaribo. I often feel like time goes by too fast. We're already in November and the days seem to pass like seconds. Highly aware of how short life can be, there are certain moments I treasure. These are the moments I often share on my blog. Posting these articles makes me feel as if somehow a part of me becomes immortal with the click of the publish button. Maybe that's why I always like sharing a dose of reality here and there. A few days before Halloween, it was Kara's birthday. We decided to plan a day of fun together with our friends. I did not go swimming all summer and it was starting to get on my nerves! My body craved cooling down in a swimming pool. We work for days in a row trying to build this vision. Sometimes it feels like life bumps us around. But I've learned to trust in the universe. I believe that some things happen f

Tap a Watra Falls , a jewel hidden in South America

Story Time: Tap a Watra Falls one of the many jewels in Suriname, South America!

" Shachem Lieuw and friends at Tap a watra falls in Sipaliwini"

Hello, my dearest Story Time readers from around the world! How have you been? I got sunburnt from all of my adventures in the South American/ Caribbean country of Suriname.  Make sure you hop onto that Story Time U.F.O. to stay updated on the many stories of my adventures that I have to share with you guys.  Suriname is also known as the heart of the Amazon rainforest. We are right in the middle of the Guyanas and our country is so rich in fauna and flora. The beauty of our rainforest and the rivers that we have is breathtaking.  When you visit the tropical country of Suriname, you have to visit our interior as well to be able to grasp the full beauty of our country. I know I have written about Tap a watra falls before, but this place is so beautiful that no matter how much I write about it I cannot describe its full beauty. I have visited Tap a Watra falls during different seasons of the year and although it looks different in each season it is still beautiful. Tap a watra falls is one of the many jewels our amazon rainforest created in Suriname.  Sipaliwini is a beautiful district in Suriname where nature takes over. You can see beautiful flowers, trees, and animals everywhere. When we were in Brokopondo heading towards Atjoni we saw a rabbit and a black panther cross the road. Unfortunately by the time I had grabbed my camera they had already leaped into the forest alongside the road. From Paramaribo, it's a 3-hour trip to Atjonie. When I arrive in Atjonie, I take the boat towards Tio Boto Eco lodge. During my visit to Sipaliwini, I visited multiple villages alongside the river. So I arrived at Tio Boto Eco resort around 8pm. But if you head straight to Tio Boto Eco resort without making any pit stops it's a 3-hour boat ride, depending on the water levels. From there on I head towards Tap a Watra falls the next morning. It's only an hour boat ride from Tio Boto Eco lodge. When you are taking trips like this I recommend that you at least stay for 4 days, that way it won't be such a tiring journey and you can enjoy nature in a calm and relaxing way.

Make sure you bring a lot of sunscreen with you and reapply every few hours. My friends and I got to enjoy the beautiful view of Tap a watra falls. when you are sitting in the river where the Gran Rio and the Pikin Rio meet each other, it feels like you are getting a massage. But be careful, remember this is still a river! Follow instructions from your tour guide carefully and make sure that you are wearing a swimming vest when you are on the boat. Traveling through Suriname is an adventure of its own. One that I enjoy, I love being able to explore my country and the world around it. Especially when I get to go on my adventures with the people that matter to me. If you are planning to explore Sipaliwini, bring some fun friends with you. They will make the trip more memorable. If you want to watch more videos of my adventures through Suriname follow me on TikTok. I have more foto, videos, and stories of my adventures in Sipaliwni that I will be sharing right here on Story Time with you guys. Until next time! 😊💗
