Blogger notes: Why you should chase your dreams?
Hello, my dearest Story Time readers from around the world? How have you been? I have missed writing to you guys so much. But I try to post more often these days. Every time I get the chance I sneak away from my busy life to find the space to keep in touch with you. That's why it also helps when you jump onto the Story Time U.F.O. and join our tribe. Don't miss a story, I am sure that just as I find the time to sneak away from a hectic schedule to talk to you, you will find the time to read my stories. But this is a blogger note, so as you know it will be more based on my experiences and the wisdom that I can share with you. Today I want to talk to you about why you should keep chasing your dreams. Don't give up in life, no matter what struggles you are facing or how impossible your ideas seem the only things that can give you the power to make them become a part of your reality are yourself and God or whatever source of the higher power that you believe in. You won't gain the ability to achieve your dreams if you base your value and worth on other people their opinions. A lot of people when they judge me for the image of who they think I am, think my success comes easy. That's not true, I am successful because I am happy and I chose to be happy. If I fail today, I will try again tomorrow. From the moment I decided to chase my dreams, I never gave up on them. I know I still have a long road to go. But I try to enjoy each moment in life. In the end that is what will matter to my soul. My achievements might drown in history, but the memories that I cherish. The adventures I go on, the wonderful people that I meet, and the way they treat me like a Queen will always be the highlight of my life. I appreciate this gift so much, even though just like you, I had moments where the world seemed to be nothing but a cold and cruel place. If you are going through those bad and traumatic moments, I understand. I know that life can be difficult, and I know that sometimes the world can seem to be an unfair place. But don't give up, after losing the battle. Believe in your strength to be not only a survivor but also a thriving warrior. That means that you should not give up on yourself. You are your most important ally. Do you know what helps me when I have those I am tired moments? I just give myself a break and try all over again to do a better job at loving myself tomorrow. If you let the people who hurt or traumatized you haunt you, you are giving them power over who you are, and that is an absolute no, no in our book of self-love! Why should you torture yourself with pain and embarrassment, over the wrong actions of another individual? Be kind to yourself, that's the secret to growing in life. Be as kind to yourself as you are to others. Feed yourself with the kind of love that you want to receive in life. I think you get the message loud and clear because I believe in you! I believe that if you love yourself enough you will do what is best for yourself. And if those dreams are what will make you satisfied in life, chase them. Why not? Life is short, and each time I reach a new milestone in my life I think of my family members, loved ones, and even my fans that are no longer in this world to witness my so-called success. At that moment you realize, that it's not about the prize. It's about the adventures you go on with the people in your life. It is about creating meaningful connections, that remind us of who we are and what we stand for. It is about taking the journey and overcoming whatever the world throws at us.
Speaking of journeys, as I said I have been quite busy these days. Not only with making content and going on adventures. But also with the scholarship programs and different kinds of training classes that I am taking at the moment. I have fallen in the Caribbean Youth Fellowship selection for Suriname along with some other talented young individuals. Through this program, I got the opportunity to network. Last month I had the opportunity to meet Mister Clinton White who is the regional director for the USAID in the Caribbean. And this month I got to meet Miss Ayesha Lett, who is their Communications Outreach specialist from the USAID. I enjoyed my time with her, she seemed to be a wise soul. But besides that, I still live my own adventures. So you could say that there are plenty of other things that keep me busy. Now I kind of regret deleting my old blog post. It would show a great reflection of how I have grown as an individual. I love being a Surinamese person and exploring my country. But I also love being able to create with the people around me. So either way, it doesn't change much for my philosophy. Since I like to believe that everything happens for a reason. Give life a chance and you never know to what wonderful places the journey will lead you. Until next time right here on Story Time. I can't wait to tell you all about my next adventure. 💝💘💟
