 Story Time: Sausages from the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp





Hello my dearest Story Time readers from around the world, how have you guys been doing? I am back with some new content from the tropical country of Suriname. Today I want to talk to you about the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp. The name is kind of deceiving in English. Worst means sausages in dutch. When it comes to worst, Surinamese people don't joke around. When you are in the country you will find a " worst stand ( sausage stand)" on almost every corner. The famous variations of sausages to get in Suriname are BBQ sausages, Crispy Sausages, and the original sausage that is well known by the locals. While driving in Lelydorp one night, I discovered this small attractive spot. The lights they used for decor gave off a warm and inviting look.  I stopped on the Indira Gandhi weg and that is how I first got acquainted with the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp. I made a video for you guys to enjoy about my first visit. I ordered a mix of different kinds of sausages. That way I could get to try the different sausages they have. They sell food like fries, shoarma, burgers, and BBQ chicken besides sausages.  The scent coming from the grill was mesmerizing. I did have to wait for a while after placing my order. If you want to contact the Worst Spot Bistro in Lelydorp to order before you pick up the food you can find their number in my video. It wasn't the best sausage I had, but they didn't disappoint either. It's a good snack for when you are hungry and on the road. Be sure to order some hot sauce or sambal when you order your sausages from the Worst Spot Bistro. Surinamese people prefer to have their food spicey. If you can't handle a little bit of a zing, opt out of that. Because the sausages on their own already have a bit of spice and seasoning to them. I hope you guys enjoyed this edition of Story Time.
