Story Time: Late-night Chinese dinner at Chi Min restaurant in Paramaribo, Suriname.
Hello my dearest Story Time readers from around the world, how have you guys been? I am doing great, trying to get by where I can. While still having so much on my plate. The good news is, I love how much more time I make available to create content for you guys. For this Story Time edition, we are visiting a famous Chinese restaurant in Paramaribo. The restaurant is named Chi Min and they are located quite close to most main tourist places in Paramaribo. For example Torarica, Waterkant, and other famous hot spots in the city. Chi Min has been around for a long time, and it's been one of my favorite spots to visit throughout the years. I have a couple of menu items that I recommend you guys try while you are at Chi Min restaurant. I haven't gotten the chance to try all of their menu items yet. But these are the ones worth trying in my experience: The sizzling hot plate, it's also pretty to see arriving at your table. I always get shrimp, I love the garlicky seasoning in their shrimp and fried spicy squid. Sometimes I get the shrimp in a seafood mix, or sometimes I just ordered them on my food. There are lots of shrimp and seafood options to try at Chi Min. I like to start my meals with a wonton shrimp soup. It is delicious! And as you can tell I am kind of addicted to that. Their Hong Kong nasi tastes good. Top it off with some shrimp and we have a winner. There are lots of varieties and food options available at Chi Min. Even if you want to order fish, it is available. During this visit, we also ordered a hot and sour soup. I was hungry, but keep in mind some days it can get really busy. Then you have to be prepared to wait a while for the food. The best time to visit is during the morning for me. Then you get to have the best seat in their dining room. For my drink choice out of habit, I mostly drink juice. I mean have you tasted Surinamese fruit juice? You guys are making my tongue drool just by writing this article. Be open to the taste of Suriname and ask the friendly waiters for recommendations. There is wifi available in the dining room for guests. Just ask the staff and they will assist you. I must admit, I always love the service their staff offers. I made a short video of my last visit to Chi Min for you guys. I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to jump onto the Story Time U.F.O. Until next time, I can't wait to share more adventures and stories with you. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comment section.
