Why you shouldn't be afraid to dream!

                             Blogger notes:

Why you shouldn't be afraid to dream!

" Shachem Lieuw somewhere in warm sunny Suriname"

Hello my dearest Story Time readers from around the world, I am back with another blogger note. In this Story episode, we're going deep. That's what the self-development articles on my blog are here for. I like sharing my experiences with you, so you don't have to make the same mistakes I did. Or so you can learn something from my stories. That's the purpose of my creative expression right here on Story Time productions. In the 12 years, I have had this blog I am glad about what I made out of it. I am grateful for the Story Time journey. And since you are a part of the Story Time tribe  When I first started this blog and created my first poetry post and other stories that I shared with you I had no idea that it would turn out to be this fantastic website that I am so proud of. I never knew anyone would read all those stories I posted in my teenage years. Now my blog has reached different parts of the globe and that just motivated me, even more, to keep it real with you guys. My inspiration kept growing even after I threw out all the old content. The Stories that I am planning on sharing with the world are written with a certain kind of power that comes from the heart. Now I am older and more aware of who I am I realize how important it is for a creator to give direction to his or her creations.  Let me paint out some wisdom about life for you straight from my inner philosophical being. I am still discovering that woman that lives inside of me, an experience every human being on earth can and will relate to at a certain point in life. That counts for all 8 billion of us living on this planet. But I get it the problems in this physical world and the material life that we live keeps distracting us from finding the deeper meaning of life.  I found out a lot of things about myself throughout the years. Including the fact that when I tell people from my past that I am a writer, they aren't shocked. I always loved to write, especially in English. Despite being a native dutch speaker I wrote my first stories in English ever since I first knew how to write. I am not going to lie, maybe a part of that creativity is in my genes or in the childhood memories where my father would tell me stories related to history or sometimes we'd just make up stories about elves and gnomes. I remember participating in the children's book festival reading contest placing first in pre-selection and third at the finals because I got so nervous reading in front of hundreds of people for the first time. If I could go back in time I would tell that girl, why are you sweating? In the future, you are an expert public speaker that speaks in front of crowds with thousands of people! But all those things are a part of the journey. I have become good at the things that I am good at by exploring the things that didn't make me comfortable. Life isn't always an easy journey, but it's the bumps in the road that make the adventure memorable. That's why In this Story Time edition I am sharing with you 5 reasons why you shouldn't be afraid to dream! No matter what anyone tells you if you have a dream and you want to make it become a part of reality, the only feedback that matters is the hard work you are willing to put into it. While building my empire in this beautiful country where I see myself as a spoiled Queen I have come to learn a lot of valuable lessons. These lessons that I am sharing with you in this blogger note are the lessons that allow no space for giving up in my life. If you decide to wear that crown, you are worthy! When you are worthily quitting isn't in a warrior's vocabulary.

I chose to wake up and have a good day as I face another day as another opportunity to add value to my country, the people I lead, and those close to my heart. If you hit that Subscribe button when the Story Time U.F.O. pops on your screen you will be close to my heart too. Because here at Story Time it's a safe space! We chose not to be afraid of our dreams because:

1. The power to make our dreams come true lies within ourselves

"Shachem Lieuw at El Embajador a royal hideaway hotel in the Dominican Republic"

The only person that will show up for you each day with 100 percent certainty is yourself. The person in the mirror is your most valuable asset/ally/liability. Treat him/ her accordingly. Invest in yourself with faith, knowledge, courage, and accountability. Let's pretend in this blogger notes that your life is a company. Take charge of it and lead in the direction your vision points you to. If I had to listen to every person that called me a silly dreamer and that everyone can have dreams I wouldn't be the person I am today. Heck, they wouldn't even be able to enjoy the skills that I gained from putting all that effort into bringing my dreams to life. You hold the power over your life, if the people in your company don't support that vision fire them accordingly. Companies are built on the hard work, effort, and determination of their staff and personnel. Just like that the quality of your life is based on your network, the people you associate with, and those you allow in your energy. If it's toxic and unsupportive you need to get rid of it. Like how that one bad unpolite employee can chase away clients without the owner knowing it. Because of course, it happens when he is not there. In that same way, the people that go behind your back to tear down your dreams before you can even lay down those bricks to form a stable foundation are dangerous. I know I like to preach about taking risks, but that is one risk that's not worth it. If you take risks, take smart ones. Besides life is short, don't waste the few moments that you have on people and things that aren't worth it. If you want to live longer, bring down that cortisol hormone. To do that you need to stop entertaining the things and people that bring stress into your life!

               2. You aren't allowed to underestimate yourself

"Sharona Lieuw On getting her certificate for public policy from Tammy Longaberger in Santo Domingo"

If you are all that you have why would it make sense to underestimate yourself? You have to believe in your skills as you put the work into your craft. There is no room for doubt, I know it's easier said than done. Especially if you are overwhelmed with insecurities and problems. I need you to put all those burdens aside in your moments for a second and take a deep breath. Tell yourself you are a capable being. You got you this far, you have the power to make the best out of your life while enjoying the journey. Repeat after me: I believe in myself because I have a healthy loving relationship with myself. I have enough love for who I am to know that all that is meant for me I will achieve. I will be led by wisdom as I face each moment. Struggles and hurdles just remind me of how powerful I am. Because I thought that mountain would be a challenge until I started the climb and got reminded that I climbed a million hills as practice. I love this journey, I love having the gift of life and I'll make use of it every day! The person that I am stands for value, I allow the universe to take me on this journey having full trust that I am capable of being happy. whispers because in the end, it's about us being satisfied with the life we live.

                    3. I hold the power to write my own Story

"Shachem Lieuw wearing Story Time womens merchandise T-Shirt loving life while living in the stories"

Don't let nobody fool you! You hold the power to write your own story. That's why I love the motto on my Story Time Merchandise T-Shirt that says " Loving life while living in the stories". If you want one you can click here to find it in the Story Time Merchandise store. This comfortable shirt is available in different colors. You have to love your life and show appreciation and gratitude. No matter how tough each day gets. Each story has its plot twist and since you are the main character you get to decide the course of the adventure. In life, you are going to meet a lot of people that are going to tell you what you can't and can do. Before you heed their advice, I want to remind you that you decide what you give power to. Why not dare to create the life of your dreams? Even failing is better for me than having to live with the thought that I never tried. Sometimes you got to try multiple times before you can see results. It's like when you failed to bake your first cake, it was an experience. But you don't give up and rise to the next occasion to try again until you have mastered the recipe. Be careful what ingredients you add to your life. Don't put other people their poison into your own food.

   4. I am gifted in my own way, so I am not allowed to compare

" Shachem Lieuw in El centro Leon located at Santiago De los caballeros"

Accept that you are gifted in your own way and that because of that you aren't allowed to compare. Not everyone can run as fast as the fastest man in the world. Not everyone can be a great engineer or designer. We are all gifted with different talents. That's also why I believe that this world was meant to be so diverse. When you stop comparing and you realize that you can't hold yourself and humanity to one standard you hold a different appreciation for the things that spark passion in you. It also makes you realize that you can't let people hold you to certain standards or place you in a box. If they put you in a box in their mind, that's their problem. But don't allow that box to become a limitation when you're exploring and developing who you are. If you want to make full use of that creative energy sparking within you, you have to allow it to be free. In most cases, tasting freedom is a great spot to be when you are in the healing process. It's not always an easy place,  but it is the place where you can unload from burdens and restrictions.

5. If you love yourself you are willing to go all the way!

How fast we have reached point 5. The last lesson that I will be sharing with you guys in this Story Time edition. I hope this article has motivated you to not give up on your dreams no matter what circumstances might be like today. In difficult times great leaders are often born. Our actions have an impact on the world around us. That's why it's important for you to find well-being at your core. As you know I practice and preach about self-love on my blog a lot. If you have that much value for yourself, you will be willing to go the distance. How many times have not gone above and beyond for the people you hold dear? Now imagine all the things you could do, if you decided to go above and beyond for yourself with that same kind of love, empathy, and unconditional support? That's something this Queen calls watering yourself. I can't wait to share more stories in the future with you guys. Thank you for reading and supporting my blog. Lots of love and until next time right here on Story Time.
😍😊😊😆😘😜😎💓

Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa

Paint Shopping And Food Stop At Warung Resa Hello Story Time friends, welcome back! I'm taking you along on another vlog. This video was made on a hectic day. I split the content of my adventures into different parts. So make sure you subscribe and stay tuned. There are a lot of stories that I still have to finish. I wish I had more time for my creative projects. But with my lifestyle in Suriname that is not realistic! Anyway, we're going paint shopping in different stores. I visited HJ De Vries, Malhoe's Building Materials, and a Historex retailer. When we were done combing through stores for our project, I was hungry and tired! So we decided to go to Warung Resa. Their Javanese food reminds me of my late grandmother's and aunt's cooking. It's flavorful and authentic. We had the Gudanang and the Long Tong Tahoe. Both are traditional dishes in Javanese culture. Long Tong Tahoe is made with bean sprouts, Tahoe, and chicken. It's then drizzled with a spicy

Green Key Expo At Torarica

Green Awareness Expo At Torarica Hola mi amigos welcome back to a new Story Time adventure! There is a vibrant city in the beating heart of the Amazon rainforest! This city is rich with multi-ethnic culture and flavorful food. Of course, I am talking about Paramaribo. Living in the Amazon Rainforest, we're surrounded by greenery. But these parts of the Amazon Rainforest haven't been unaffected by global warming. The recent droughts where multiple rivers and creeks were empty is an example. The gold mining and wood exploitation that happens in our jungles is affecting the beauty of our land. Protecting the Amazon Rainforest means protecting the lungs of the world. Green awareness is a topic that's often mentioned in this part of the world. Hotel Torarica organized a Green Key fair and of course, I had to visit! Now I can finally share the Story with you guys! Creating these Story Time episodes takes a lot of work. So I'd appreciate it if you subscribe and join our tri

Shadows Of Love

Shadows Of Love Sometimes you must shuffle the deck a few times to be dealt the right hand. And sometimes you meet that King Of Hearts in the first move that the game will demand. In the shadows of love, there are many secrets hidden. Something about you felt familiar, calm, and at the same time forbidden. I wonder what the universe was conspiring when our paths crossed. From a distance, I felt your eyes capture my soul. Maybe this is a story that should never be told! But they say that if you want to enter the paradise of lovers you have to pay the toll! A friend once asked me a question, he said: " What is it you are looking for now that we are getting old?". I told him I wanted someone who could spark my mind, soul, and maybe my inner sexual being. After he exposed the beauty hidden in my poetry, thoughts kept flirting with this hidden feeling. Sometimes we need the right people to ask us the right questions! But sometimes when the ones we hide in our hearts want to kno

Lunch At Hotel Torarica

Lunch At Hotel Torarica Hello friends, as you noticed, the Story Time U.F.O. hasn't taken off from Torarica yet! When we finished checking in at Royal Torarica we were hungry! It's good that we were only a short walk from Torarica. Through the backyard of Royal Torarica, we found our way into the restaurant of Hotel Torarica. We sat in their dining room and ordered food from their menu. In my vlog, you will see the food items and prices listed on Hotel Torarica's menu. I had some chicken with corn. My plate was filled with greens and even had a chicken sate included. It was delicious! But my favorite had to be the truffle wedges! If you are visiting Hotel Torarica, I'd definitely recommend trying it! They are topped with parmesan cheese. A simple but buttery and flavorful dish. Stew ordered a fish dish that came with watermelon. It was relaxing to have dinner in the backyard of Torarica. We could hear the birds chirping and some birds even landed on our tables. But k

Storytime with Donovan Dongo, Dongo Brothers selected  The Dongo brothers holding the Surinamese flag in front of the  W.W.E performance center in America. Today I have some good news for the people of Suriname. I know I am a bit late with this story, but what can I say. I have been having problems with my Internet provider for a while now.  If you live in Suriname, you probably can relate. But on with Storytime, today we are going to talk about the Dongo brothers.  These guys have proven that dreams do come true, with a lot of hard work and effort.  The World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E) has selected Donovan and Leandro Dongo to represent Suriname. They made it past their last tryouts and were selected out of 30.000 applicants. The Dongo brothers have proven what they are made of, but they have also put Suriname on the world map when it comes to wrestling entertainment.  Donovan Dongo shares his experiences with Storytime in a video he recorded. Blogger notes: Happy new year! Storytime in 2022

Happy new year, Storytime in 2022 Hi guys, I want to wish all of you a happy new year. I am learning to stay positive no matter the circumstances. Throughout the years I have become a professional at it. The weird thing is, the better I get at it the better my skills become. I have to say I am proud of myself for getting through last year. There were some painful lessons, as usual. I have come to learn that they are a part of the journey that helps me build my successes. The more I embraced positivity the less my anxiety became.  Anxiety can be a messed-up demon, but the warrior in me kind of grew tired of it and decided to stab it. That's the problem when you know how strong you are.  The only thing is, I just wasn't in a hurry to grow up. Especially if you grew up in the public eye like I did. But I have no regrets. Because each step that I made in life also led me to beautiful people and beautiful experiences. The more content I feel with my life, the more my inn
