Halloween At Zin Resort In Paramaribo

Halloween At Grand Cafe Zin In Paramaribo My dear Story Time friends, I am writing you again to share another memory from tropical Paramaribo. I often feel like time goes by too fast. We're already in November and the days seem to pass like seconds. Highly aware of how short life can be, there are certain moments I treasure. These are the moments I often share on my blog. Posting these articles makes me feel as if somehow a part of me becomes immortal with the click of the publish button. Maybe that's why I always like sharing a dose of reality here and there. A few days before Halloween, it was Kara's birthday. We decided to plan a day of fun together with our friends. I did not go swimming all summer and it was starting to get on my nerves! My body craved cooling down in a swimming pool. We work for days in a row trying to build this vision. Sometimes it feels like life bumps us around. But I've learned to trust in the universe. I believe that some things happen f

Visiting McDonald's Keizer Straat In Suriname

Visiting McDonald's Keizer Straat In Suriname

" Shachem Lieuw in McDonald's Keizerstraat Suriname"

Hello my Story Time foodie lovers, how are you? For today's adventure, I'm taking you guys along with me to McDonald's Keizer straat in Suriname. McDonald's is an international fast-food chain that is well-known across the globe. In each country, they adapt their menu to the local preferences. Some menu items are unique to certain countries. I had to find out the hard way that they don't sell the famous Surinamese McDonald's spicy chicken in all countries. Flashes back to the Dutch woman giving me a weird look and making it clear to me that MacDonald's Netherlands mostly sold burgers.🍔👀😂 Well that's how you learn in life! That's why I decided to give you guys a look at what the food is like at McDonald's Suriname. For this Story Time episode, we're visiting McDonald's Keizer straat. This McDonald's is the first and longest-standing location in Suriname. It's right around the block from where I grew up. Going this McDonald's made me nostalgic for my childhood years. My father and my late grandfather would often take me here. Back then the quality seemed to be better and even in my teenage years McDonald's was more affordable compared to now. The packaging has changed and the budget costs are to be noticed. Inflation has taken hold of the Surinamese economy and since then the prices keep rising and unfortunately, sometimes that means that the quality has to suffer. I was excited to try out McDonald's deals but I'm kind of disappointed in the quality of their chick and cheese bun. It didn't seem to be that fresh when we got it in our hands. At least the 2 pieces of spicey chicken made it all better! That's mostly the combo that my tastebuds enjoy the most from the Surinamese McDonald's menu. They did have some interesting toys from the kid's meal on display! It was the Guardians of the Galaxy edition😍. Each of their combos comes with a drink of choice and of course, there is always the option to upsize. I was thirsty, so upsizing was a no-brainer at the moment.  I made a vlog of my Paramaribo food adventure for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think in the comments. Would you visit McDonald's Suriname during your travel adventures? If you do plan on doing so I'd recommend getting the Spicey Chicken and try their Ice Cream sundaes or Mcflurry's for dessert. Don't forget to hop onto my Story Time U.F.O. 👽👾🛸that way you'll be the first to get my adventures zapped straight to your inbox! I look forward to going on more adventures with you guys, as you have become a part of my Story Time tribe. I am truly grateful for all the love and support you guys show my content.💓
