                              Escaping Planet Jeiwan

Jerry belongs to the Jeiwanian people who inhabit planet Jeiwan. He lives an average life on his planet. It was a peaceful home for his people. Each day when all the three suns on his planet had risen he'd wake up and get ready in the cleansing machine. This device automatically cleansed his body and scanned him for illnesses. On his planet, Jeiwanians love technology and have developed a lot of devices to make their lives easier. The cleansing machine is even licensed to perform simple at-home surgeries. When he steps out of the cleansing machine he gets dressed and walks to his flying car. The car is programmed to react to his biometric scan. As soon as he is close to the door the flying vehicle opens. Jerry steps in and he goes to work. He's been doing this job for the last 8 years and although it doesn't pay much he loves what he does. It's a short flight to the International Space Travel Port. He works as a security agent there. All aliens entering Jeiwan must identify themselves and pass customs. When he arrives at work he stops at his favorite snack shop to pick up breakfast. It's his usual favorite Marmorian juice and a Cacinder salad. Both have ingredients that help boost his immune system. You never know what diseases can pass through these gates. It wouldn't be the first time that an epidemic started in this place. It was mandatory for all personnel working here to maintain a certain diet. Just as he walked to the front door to get inside the Spaceport building he spotted two Xemolian aliens strolling. What were they doing here? Xemolian aliens were banned from entering Jeiwan. Although they are naive and innocent in their nature, the Xemolians are a natural attraction for chaos. The last time they were spotted on Jeiwan, half the planet's food chain collapsed. Our scientists and researchers discovered that their species attracts chaotic energy. It's something that they feed on as a telepathic species. If I'd let them get away, it could cost me my job! With all the bills that I had to pay I wasn't going to let them get away!

" Hold it! What are you guys doing here? Unless you don't have any authorization papers to be here, you two will have to come with me!". The Xemolians turned around and laughed at Jerry. They were clearly mocking him. " That's it, I'm taking you guys in with me.". The aliens moved their eye tentacles in circular motions and before Jerry figured out what they were doing he was already hypnotized. They managed to successfully get into his head. Memories of his life flashed before him. He saw his mother making food for him when he was just a young boy. Then he saw visions of him and his grandfather visiting his mother in the hospital. She was a victim of the pandemic and when she died he wasn't allowed to bury her. This was a decision his grandfather had made for him because he thought it was better that way. But it always left Jerry with an incomplete hole in his life. He became a rebellious teenager who felt alone in the world. A loneliness that became more apparent when his grandfather passed away on his graduation day. Suddenly the vision of his high school bully appeared to him. He saw Jamoch push him to the ground during Biochemistry class in front of his crush Laura. The trauma of that vision shocked him back to his senses. Now he was in control of his own mind again, but by then it was too late!

The city around him had been destroyed at his hands. He was piloting a warship and saw burning buildings through the windshield. Of course, he had no idea how he got here or when he got into the warship. "The Xemolians must have used their telekinesis powers to hypnotize me." he thought to himself. First, he disabled the ship's weapons and brought it in for a safe landing. He was willing to surrender himself to the authorities and explain what had happened. But then a broadcast came in on the warship's communication system. " Jerry, a shoot on-site execution order has been acquired for you. Resistance is futile, surrender in peace for a painless death." The message kept being repeated through the transmitter.  What was going on? He was going to be executed without a trial or a fair process. At first, he thought it was all a joke or that he was having a bad dream. " I shouldn't have drank all that slug juice last night.". When he stepped out of the vehicle police patrols began shooting beams at him and he quickly realized this was not a dream but a bad reality instead. He fled the scene as fast as he could! He wasn't ready to die, especially when none of this was his fault. He found a hoverboard and boarded it. The special patrols were chasing him with lethal laser guns. He jumped on it and it was a close call as the fast Berbarian officer was right behind them. Berbarians are from a species that are known to be fast and strong. No wonder most of them were recruited to work in the special forces. He made a quick escape and somehow managed to lose them. There was no time to think, he knew how the system worked on planet Jeiwan. There was only one option for now! He had to board a spacecraft and escape the planet. Because he works for the spaceport station, it wasn't difficult for him to bypass security. The chaos that was happening outside in the city distracted everyone. Only people who had to leave were at the spaceport, others sought safety. Some even stayed behind because their families got injured or murdered during the destruction. A Hologram reporter in the spaceport's bar reported that there were at least 3,000 deaths and counting. He was officially declared as a terrorist on the run to the rest of the planet. They broadcasted his picture and identity code on every channel. In a short time, he became viral as the only terrorist the planet has known in a decade. He knew that he was being set up, but as a dead man proofing his innocence would not be possible. He used a cloaking device to change his appearance. Then he snuck into the hangar and entered the code. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he needed a good spaceship. That's why he picked out the Dasher, the latest model in space travel technology. It's normally only used to take diplomats on their travels. But now it was going to become Jerry's ticket out of Jeiwan. When he jumps into the space ship a woman he doesn't know calls out to him. " Wait, take me with you?" he didn't have time to get into an argument with her. She jumped in and he put it on the autopilot to exit the planet's atmosphere. The land under them slowly disappeared. It didn't take long before they saw planet Jeiwan slowly disappear behind them. The benefit of hijacking a diplomat's spacecraft is that there are no security checks These crafts pass the radar without being second questioned. the adrenaline that was rushing through my veins finally subsided. I finally escaped my home planet. In less than a few hours time my life changed. " So what's next Jerry?" she asks me. " Excuse me who are you? I'm just someone trying to escape like you. Don't worry if you drop me off at planet Bamariya, I'll be out of you're hair." Her answer didn't give me much comfort but that didn't stop her from talking. " Well, what's next now that you're wanted dead back home? Just like me, you can't go back home.". " I don't know maybe after I drop you off I'll explore space until I find a way to prove my innocence.". " Maybe there is someone who can help you. There is a wise sage who lives on planet Bamariya, I can take you to him in exchange for the ride. They say he has all the answers, and if you ask the right question maybe he'll have an answer for you."
