"Jerry and his alien friends escape planet Jeiwan"
Jerry belongs to the Jeiwanian people who inhabit planet Jeiwan. He lives an average life on his planet. It was a peaceful home for his people. Each day, when all three suns on his planet had risen, he would wake up and get ready in the cleansing machine. This device automatically cleansed his body and scanned him for illnesses. On his planet, Jeiwanians love technology and have developed numerous devices to make their lives easier. The cleansing machine is even licensed to perform simple at-home surgeries.
When he steps out of the cleansing machine, he gets dressed and walks to his flying car. The car is programmed to react to his biometric scan. As soon as he is near the door, the flying vehicle opens. Jerry steps in and goes to work. He has been doing this job for eight years, and although it doesn't pay much, he loves his work.
Jerry catches Xemolian intruders
It is a short flight to the International Space Travel Port. He works as a security agent there. All aliens entering Jeiwan are required to identify themselves and pass through customs. When he arrives at work, he stops at his favorite snack shop and orders breakfast. It is his usual favorite: Marmorian juice and a Cinder salad. Both have ingredients that help boost his immune system. You never know what diseases can pass through these gates. It wouldn't be the first time an epidemic started in this sector.
It was mandatory for all personnel to adhere to a specific diet. Just as he walked to the front door to enter the Spaceport building, he spotted two Xemolian aliens strolling. What were they doing here? Xemolian aliens were banned from entering Jeiwan. Although they are naive and innocent by nature, the Xemolians are drawn to chaos. The last time they were spotted on Jeiwan, half the planet's food chain collapsed. Our scientists and researchers discovered that their species attracts chaotic energy. It is something they feed on as a telepathic species.
With all the bills I had, I wasn't going to let them go unpaid!
"Hold it! What are you guys doing here? Unless you have authorization papers to be here, you two will have to come with me!"
The Xemolians turned around and laughed at Jerry. They were clearly mocking him.
"That is it, I am taking you guys in with me."
The aliens moved their eye tentacles in circular motions, and before Jerry could figure out what they were doing, he was hypnotized. They managed to successfully get into his head. Memories of his life flashed before him.
He saw his mother making food for him when he was just a young boy. Then he saw visions of himself and his grandfather visiting his mother in the hospital. She was a victim of the pandemic, and when she died, he wasn't allowed to bury her.
It was a decision Jerry's grandfather made for him. His grandfather meant well. He didn't want to burden Jerry with feelings of loss. But it always left Jerry with an incomplete hole in his life.
He became a rebellious teenager who felt alone in the world. A loneliness that became more apparent when his grandfather passed away on his graduation day. Suddenly, visions of his high school bully appeared in his mind. He saw Jamoch push him to the ground during Biochemistry class in front of his crush, Lauralel. The trauma of that vision shocked him back to his senses.
He regained control of his own mind, but it was too late!
Jerry being chased by alien police patrol
The city was destroyed. He was piloting a warship and saw burning buildings through the windshield. Of course, he had no idea how he got here or when he got into the warship. But it became clear that Jerry caused the destruction. He couldn't remember anything. As a trained professional, Jerry quickly realized he had walked into a trap.
"The Xemolians must have used their telekinesis powers to hypnotize me."
First, he disabled the ship's weapons and brought it in for a safe landing. He was willing to surrender himself to the authorities and explain what had happened. However, a broadcast then came in on the warship's communication system.
🚨 TRANSMISSION:
"Jerry, a shoot-on-sight execution order has been issued for you. Resistance is futile; surrender in peace for a painless death."
The message was repeated over and over through the transmitter. What was going on? He was going to be executed without a trial or a fair process. At first, he thought it was all a joke or that he was having a bad dream.
"I shouldn't have drunk all that slug juice last night."
When he stepped out of the vehicle, police patrols began shooting beams at him, and he quickly realized this was not a dream but a harsh reality he had awakened to. He fled the scene as fast as he could! He wasn't ready to die, especially when none of this was his fault. He found a hoverboard and boarded it. The special patrols were chasing him with lethal laser guns. He jumped on the hoverboard, and it was a close call.
The fast Berbarian officer was right behind. The Berbarians are a species known for being fast and strong. It is no wonder most of them were recruited to work for the special forces. He made a quick escape and somehow managed to lose them. There was no time to think; he knew how the system worked on planet Jeiwan.
There was only one option left! He had to board a spacecraft and escape the planet. Because he worked for the spaceport station, he easily bypassed their security system. The chaos outside in the city distracted everyone. Only people who had to leave were at the spaceport; others sought safety. Some even stayed behind because their families got injured or murdered during the destruction.
A hologram reporter in the spaceport's bar reported that there were at least 3,000 deaths and counting. He was officially declared a terrorist on the run to the rest of the planet. They broadcast his picture and identity code on every channel. In a short time, he went viral as the only terrorist the planet has known in over a decade.
He knew that he was being set up, but as a dead man, proving his innocence would not be possible. He used a cloaking device to change his appearance. Then he snuck into the hangar and entered the code. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew he needed a good spaceship. That is why he picked out the Dasher, the latest model in space travel technology.
It is usually only used to take diplomats on their travels. But now it was Jerry's ticket out of Jeiwan. When he jumps into the spaceship, a woman he doesn't know calls out to him.
"Wait, take me with you?"
He didn't have time to argue. She jumped in, and he put the ship on autopilot to exit the planet's atmosphere. The land under them slowly disappeared. It didn't take long for planet Jeiwan to fade away behind them.
The benefit of hijacking a diplomat's spacecraft is getting through security checkpoints. These crafts pass the radar without being second-guessed. The adrenaline that was rushing through my veins finally subsided. I finally escaped my home planet. In a matter of a few hours, my life changed.
"So what's next, Jerry?" the woman asks.
"Excuse me, who are you? I'm just someone trying to escape like you. Don't worry, if you drop me off at planet Bamariya, I'll be out of your hair."
Her answer didn't comfort me, but that didn't stop her from talking.
"Well, what's next now that you're wanted dead back home? Just like me, you can't go back home."
"I don't know, oh maybe after I drop you off, I'll explore space until I find a way to prove my innocence."
"Maybe there is someone who can help you. There's a wise sage on planet Bamariya. I can take you to him in exchange for the ride. They say he has all the answers, and if you ask the right question, maybe he'll have an answer for you."
