Eid at Javaweg: A Cultural Journey Through Suriname 🌙✨ Hello everyone! Shachem Lieuw here from Story Time Productions . I am so excited to finally share a special piece of my backlog with you all. As I continue to upload my collection of adventures, today we are diving deep into the vibrant, soul-stirring celebration of Eid al-Fitr at Javaweg! Celebrating Eid in Suriname 🕌 In Suriname, Eid al-Fitr is a beautiful testament to our multicultural harmony. This year, the festivities brought the Javanese community together in a display of faith, joy, and unity. It’s more than just a holiday; it’s a time for reflection, gratitude, and coming together with family and friends to celebrate the end of the fasting month. The Thrill of Javaweg Traffic 🏍️💨 If you’ve never experienced Javaweg (Javaroad) during a celebration, you’re missing out on a unique Surinamese rite of passage! Hello Story Time friends, from around the world! How has your week been? Time does indeed go by fast! If you're new to my blog, be sure to subscribe! I have a lot of fun travel and foodie adventures to share with you guys! Unfortunately, my internet provider, Telesur,  doesn't always offer the best services. Due to the slow internet upload speeds in Suriname, it often takes me a while to get my content up and running in front of my audience. It's a good thing that quitting isn't in my nature! Instead, I continue my adventures and try to capture as many moments as possible to share with you. I'm having a lot of fun creating and sharing content with the help of my loved ones. Sometimes I even get dragged to places by my friends. They like to show me new places to share with my diverse audience. 💓😍 That's honestly something I'm grateful for. As you guys know, I launched a series called Midnight Creeps a couple of weeks ago. Each Friday night at Midnight, I livestream on my YouTube channel to share creepy stories with you. I enjoy practicing telling these stories on the spot to help unleash my creativity. So, forgive me if I'm a bit rusty at first. It feels like digging up an old talent and trying to get comfortable again with the artist living inside of me. That's essentially what this entire journey has been about. I feel like the writer inside of me has many tales to tell, but first, she must make peace with the pen. Or, in this case, her laptop's keyboard. 😂 I'm making progress, and so far, I'm proud of my work. Thank you guys for helping make this possible for me. Without your views, I wouldn't have been able to create Story Time Productions. I've been busy lately; the technical aspect of running and operating a blog also takes a lot of time. I conducted research, acquired new skills, and read about coding to find new ways to make my blog run more smoothly and efficiently for you. I'm not all the way there yet, but as you can see, we are making progress! I am having fun exploring a whole new world of possibilities in this digital age. In the end, I think that is what counts the most! In case you guys missed it, here is Episode 4 of Midnight Creeps. This episode is titled 'Clara and Her Missing Parents.' Bring your popcorn and snacks. 😋 Clara's parents mysteriously disappeared. Join her on an adventure to seek answers.
