Story Time: Cirkel group mother's day event at Solei
Hello my dearest Story Time reader from around the world, how have you been? I am doing fine as you can see from the above picture. Recently it was mothers day, and I got invited to the Cirkel group mothers day event. Now sit back and relax a bit while you are reading my blog. I want to put you in the same vibes and setting that I experienced during this event. I enjoyed every moment of it. Now I was told that we would get a manicure or a pedicure but the organization and team members that made this event possible spoiled all the ladies attending beyond our expectations. This Cirkel group's mothers day event was held in the Solei event center. I had never before been to this place, so I had trouble finding it at first. But a few handy instructions later, I arrived at my destination. The first thing that I noticed was the beautiful view of the Suriname river that they have in their backyard. It's something you can't miss from the moment you drive into the events center parking lot. It's a good thing I made a video for you guys to have an idea of what my day was like. I entered the event hall booth and they even had this cute mother's day photo booth set up. I have to say that the entire experience was relaxing, the music that was playing when walking in did a great job at calming the senses. We got treated to a manicure and pedicure right by the river. Now that is a fun and new outdoor experience. They gave us some towels that we could use during our session and take home with us. The cherry on top of this treat was that you got served these delicious cocktails from Erotic cocktails. I have tried their Pina Collada, Swimming pool and the hulk and they were all delicious. Especially the Pina Collada, I liked that one better than the one I recently had during Tangelo's noodle bar. It was more flavorful and the right balance between pineapple and coconut. Not bad, especially since I didn't have to drop American dollars for it! But hey, it is what it is in life. After I finished with my manicure and pedicure I had to go for my massage. I felt like I was in an outdoor spa. We had to go into a different area to get a massage. I loved that everyone kept disinfecting all the equipment constantly. Due to obvious reasons, I didn't get any footage of the massage. I will say that it was relaxing. They used those scenting numbing massage oils and I grinned because I know and love those babies. Gasp, Dio just doesn't pay me for the free advertisement. I love certain products, I just don't always have time with my lifestyle. Even finding extra time to write on this blog for you guys is an actual intense effort! That's why I appreciate you sharing some of that love with me. The massage had loosened up my muscles and I felt like a relaxed person that caught a break from a high-demand lifestyle. But I wasn't the only one enjoying this experience. All the women around me who participated in this Cirkel group mothers day event enjoyed being spoiled. They even served us food and snacks, so I had to get creative and find myself a good snack spot each time. Don't worry after all the adventures I take in life, a sister has learned to navigate different situations and scenarios 😝. It's a good thing that this blog gives me the opportunity to share a part of my adventures and stories with you guys. It also gives me the gift of being expressive of who I am and where my creativity comes from. It's been fun and good practice! I enjoyed the Surinamese food that they served. They allowed you to pick from two main dishes and I decided to go for Pom and Pastei. When you are in Suriname you will surely find out that these are two very popular dishes in my country. Overall it was a good experience at the end of the event we received a small gift box with some ginger oil, a scrub, and soap in it. Enjoy the video guys, and I can't wait to share my next adventure right here on Story Time.
