A Gladiator's Feast: Rico's Foodtruck

A Gladiator's Feast: Rico's Foodtruck Hello fellow foodies! Welcome back to another culinary adventure. πŸ˜πŸ˜€This time, our food hunt takes us to Rico's A Gladiator Foodtruck , located at Wilhelminastraat 40 in Paramaribo. Rico's serves up a delicious array of burgers, shoarmas, and wraps. πŸ” We paid them a visit on a typically hot Paramaribo night, and my friend Dev-Lin was our official taste-tester for the evening. He got to try their cheeseburger and, after we finished filming, he couldn't stop joking about how Rico's was going to "take all his money." Giving it a high-praise rating of 11 out of 10, Dev-Lin's wallet surrendered as his stomach vowed to try every single item on their menu.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… One thing to keep in mind is that Rico's isn't open every day. So, before you head over, be sure to check their Facebook page for their current opening hours. Don't drool too much while watching our yummy food adventure. πŸ˜‹πŸ€€Have fun, and until...

Interview With Surinamese Music Band Heat

Story Time With Surinamese Music Band Heat

"Shachem Lieuw with Ashish Algoe and Rayzio Ramkhelawan from Surinamese Indian music band Heat"

Hello, my dearest Story Time friends from around the world, how have you been? Your pen pal πŸ–‹ is back with another Story Time episode! This time, my guests are the boys from the Surinamese Music Band Heat. I asked them for an interview and they happily agreed. To bring this Story Time Production to life, I spoke with Ashish Algoe and Rayzio Ramkhelawan. They are the founders of the Surinamese Indian music band Heat. For both of them, their passion and love for music began at a young age! I got to sit with them and discover what drives them and what they have in store for the future of the music band Heat.

As I mentioned before on my blog, Suriname has influences from different parts of the world. Indian culture has a significant impact on our country. Our ancestors came from other parts of the world, and that created a multicultural society. In our music, food, tradition, and even our languages, you'll find puzzle pieces from around the world!😁 That's the secret behind our peaceful society. We're the only country in the world where a mosque and a temple are located side by side. The Heat has drawn influences from rock and Bollywood music, among other styles.

But you'll just have to watch and see for yourself what Ashish Algoe and Rayzio Ramkhelawan, who have been running the band for 6 years, have to say. I hope you guys enjoy this Story Time episode! Don't forget to show Heat some love and support by following them on their social media channels.πŸ’“ By the way, did you notice anything different in my sound? I recorded this video with my new Boya microphone from Amazon! Since I joined Amazon's affiliate program, I might as well share some of my own great Amazon finds with you. What do you think about the quality? You can find the Boya microphone right here and help a sister collect some coins from my affiliate link commissions.πŸ˜…πŸ˜›πŸ’° πŸ˜€. The lighting kit used to record this video was also obtained from Amazon. It enables me to record videos with 9 different kinds of color settings. I look forward to capturing more videos with this photography light kit.😍 Enjoy the video, and thank you for the support on my blog. Until next time, right here on Story Time Productions!
