Before, on, and after my birthday, I was super spoiled by my friends.😍💓If there is one thing I am super grateful for, it's being surrounded by the good people in my life. Good people are hard to come by these days, so if you come across them, make sure to cherish them.✍Now that's a note of wisdom to save for the future, my friends. On my birthday, I had the opportunity to check in at Houttuyn Wellness River Resort in Suriname. This resort features a hotel and a restaurant. Normally, when you book a room at this resort, you are allowed to check in at 3 pm. Thankfully, they allowed me to check in at 4 pm, since I had been tired all morning. They walked me to my mid-cabana through their peaceful garden. It's a beautiful scenery to admire, and despite the hot sun, I didn't break a sweat. The breeze coming from the Suriname River cooled me down. I arrived in front of my cute cabana, and when I opened the door, I was surprised! The resort staff had decorated my Midi Cabana with balloons. If you're visiting Houttuyn Wellness River Resort during your travels in Suriname, I highly recommend booking the Midi Cabana. I thought that the Maxi Cabana would be better, but for that one, it's advised to book in advance. But once I was in my mid-cabana, I had a gorgeous view of the swimming pool and the Suriname River. 😍 The cabana was small but cozy enough for two people to enjoy. It comes with a fridge and even has a cute wooden sink. Robes and towels are available for guests to use. Only there isn't a bathroom or shower available in the cabana. You'll have to use the shower and toilet outside. But that's for our next Story Time adventure together. So make sure you subscribe 👀😀😁. It even had chairs and a table so you could sit near the window and admire the tropical beauty of Suriname. There is also a coffeemaker in the cabana. A cup of coffee can help you warm up while you're sitting outside near the pool as the cold breeze passes your hair. The bed is comfortable and cozy.
