Fruit Stop At Highway Street Stall

Fruit Stop At Highway Street Stall

" Sick young woman buying fruits in the tropics"

Hello friends, I'm writing to you again from the tropics. Despite being sick and having severe back problems, I still managed to crawl behind my laptop to finish this Story. Whenever I get to create a Story Time episode, it makes me feel better. This blog has become a creative outlet for me. Gasp, takes in a deep breath, and remembers how this blog started. Writing and creating make me feel good! Even when the world around me has me stressed out. I've been sick so often that my body is just screaming how much I need a break. When I say that, I don't mean just a time out! I'm talking about creating enough peace in my life and eliminating things that aren't good for my mental and physical well-being. 😤 I've been sick so many times that working on these things has become a priority for the year. Life is showing me the hard way that I've been there for everyone but myself. 😪That's a people-pleasing habit that never pays off. As I continue to learn on my self-love journey, I realize that we can't control the things that happen to us. Sometimes, the people who you loved and cared for the most will be the first ones to kick you while you're sick and down on the floor. But as a warrior Queen, I don't know what giving up is. I've read the translated version of the Bhagavad Gita, and within it is the Story of the Pandavas. A story that has always caught my interest. The knowledge and wisdom I gained from reading this sacred book are what make me hold on to the philosophy of self-love. It's not always easy, but each time I fail,  I struggle to stand on my own feet again. For most of my life, I was left to figure things out on my own. The journey I had is one you wouldn't even believe if I told you! Although I've always felt alone since I was a child, I like to think that there was always some kind of divine and loving power guiding me. Sometimes that warm touch of God and Love is all you need to get through the darkest and most challenging moments. Even if it means pouring that love from your own cup! I created this vlog a few days before I fell ill again. In this part of the tropical Caribbean, the flu has been spreading. It caught me, and on top of that, my back problems kicked in again. 😤But the voice inside me is comforting me by whispering," Sharona, remember after each heavy storm, there is a tropical sunshine". Anyway, I was craving fruits and coconut water. So we stopped at one of the many fruit stalls on the Martin Luther King Highway in Suriname. They also sell fish and Surinamese crabs at these street stalls. Because I didn't feel well, I wanted to pump my body with as many natural vitamins as possible. They also sell other Surinamese fruits, such as mangoes, rambutan, and oranges. Have a look at myog and wish me the best as I slowly recover. I'm sending you guys nothing but loving and positive vibes.💓 Thanks for tuning in as usual! Are you planning on traveling through South America or any other warm destination?
