Story time Podcast
Hi, I come from a small country called Suriname, which is located in South America. My country is very diverse and multi-cultured. The people are friendly and the food is so tasty that a lot of people in the world try to make knock off products of Surinamese cuisine. I spent a lot of time alone and in spending time alone I got more time to think about the world. I always liked voicing my opinion, and now 7 years ahead I regret letting my anxiety get the best of me. So I decided to create a blog called Storytime ( shachem.blogspot.com). I liked writing about inspiring people and inspiring stories. I am still getting the hang of blogging. While blogging I noticed different people from all over the world would visit my site just to read stories that I wrote. This touched me and inspired me to keep writing despite my busy schedule. Because even a young lady from a small South American country can have a story to tell the world. After that, the idea to start a podcast came to me. This way I hope to have a closer bond with my readers. I know my older blog readers might have noticed that I deleted some of my past posts and lovely comments that you left behind for me. I am sorry but when I started this blog I saw it more as an online diary. A way to express me, without anyone having to know who I really was. It wasn't really quality writing to be honest. They were mostly a few random poems and rants on life. But since I started getting more attention from my blog readers and noticed that suddenly there were people reading my blog I decided that you guys deserve better than vague stories. So in an effort to supply you with quality content, I decided to start this podcast https://shachem.podbean.com/. Shall we keep it fun?
How many episodes will the Story time podcast have?
Well you see for now I can't exactly say because I have a personal life as well.
Writing, blogging, and podcasting are hobbies of mine that I do in my free time.
But be warned unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time. That is something you might have noticed as old readers as well. But I do plan on writing more and picking up the phase in the coming week. Storytime will be posting about Stephanie de Randamie and Daniel Lemmer, stories you should keep an eye out for. I know I am behind with a few weeks, but I promise to make it up to my lovely readers. You see I also wanted to make sure that you have no problems navigating my site. And oh boy doing that takes a lot of work and time and some headaches.
Why did the website change so much?
I do hope you like the new changes because there are some more on the way. I had to make my website mobile-friendly as well. That way you don't have to wait so long for my page to load. I also hope the new theme makes scrolling through my content easier. If you want to access the menu, go into the left upper corner. I also added a privacy policy and cookie policy which you can access through the menu. There is a lot of work to do before my blog is perfect enough for you to scroll through but be patient. I am still learning day by day. But if there are any topics you want me to touch on or suggestions and questions that you have, be sure to send me an email. I love receiving feedback from my readers.
