Good morning, friends, I'm once again writing from warm tropical Suriname. It's a new day; the sun is up, and the birds are chirping outside as I write this article for you. In the race to finish all of my stories, I'm back with another Story Time Productions episode about Houttuyn Wellness River Resort. I haven't finished my previous episodes yet, especially the Frederiksdorp series. However, I had so much fun staying at this Surinamese hotel that I'm eager to wrap up this birthday series. 😁 Maybe this can be my way of celebrating my first month in year 31 on my blog?😂😉 As usual, I'm having fun creating these episodes for you guys. I wish I only had more time to finish my stories. But they do say that good things take time for a reason! Be sure to subscribe to my blog and stay updated as soon as I post a new episode.👽👾🛸 As you can see from the picture above, I had a relaxing night enjoying my coffee. The cabana was terrific with a gorgeous view. We had some pizza with my friends who visited me. They came over to spoil me and wish me a happy birthday.

We had a fun time chatting and drinking some salted caramel Baileys inside our cabana. Later that night, we went outside by the pool to enjoy the view of the full moon hovering over the Suriname River. Before our pizza even had a chance to cool down, we devoured it! Despite the pizza not being round, it still tasted delicious and well-balanced.😍😎 I'm appreciative of all the people who made my day special behind the scenes. Receiving all that warmth and love made me glow on the inside. These are the moments I'll treasure for the rest of my journey. No wonder I don't have a problem documenting them on my blog.💖 After my friends left, it was time to hit the showers. I loved the natural vibes their bathroom has, and I was impressed by the fact that this hotel actually has warm water available. A disappointment we experienced at our last place of stay. But again, that's for another Story Time episode. 😉

I had a great night of sleep and dozed off despite having other things to do. The bed was so comfortable that it wasn't difficult to get carried away to the land of dreams. I woke up early and was energized to watch the sunset. Here's a tip for other guests staying in neighboring cabanas. Do you know our windows are see-through?😂😂 I had to go outside and check. But yes even from the outside you can see what's happening inside the cabanas if you aren't closing the curtains.😂😎 I won't go into any more details on that, and keep it for my own amusement. Instead, I'll tell you about that gorgeous sunset and morning view!

As you can see, the view from the mid-cabana is worth it!😍 Before taking pictures, I just had to breathe and take it all in. This is the unique beauty of my country, Suriname! They say that we live in a small world, yet each piece is different. Sometimes it's the differences that make us beautiful. I like to think that this is also the case with Suriname. We aren't a perfect country, but when it comes to our natural resources, it's a blessing from the universe. I created a vlog about my experience at this Surinamese hotel. I hope you guys enjoy it.
